Noted, shitty idea. I'll file it with the other 300 dead maps in the box.
So Sidular contacted me about making a ultiduo map for TFCL as he needed another to round out their season so here's alpha 1 of an idea I came up with. No clue if it's any good but I think it's different so maybe it's fun. It's basically like the radar dish from hydro.

Insert XKCD about why we have 14 standards here.
UGC. ESEA. TFCL. We have enough leagues.
Oh wait, you said it's European even though one of your reasons is ESEA. Ok.
Call me a whore posting twice in the same thread but I found this album I had of my kit as well...

I have a guitar problem.
Gibson SG Standard, Gibson Les Paul Traditional, Oscar Schmidt 6 string acoustic, Ibanez Artcore hollowbody, Epiphone EDS-1275, Yamaha 12 string acoustic, Squier J bass.
Also I totally dig that sentiment. My SG and I have been through some tough times and worked some things out together.
Because playing against full time engineer is fun.
Seriously though, I don't think most of the A/D maps out there would work. It would be tough to make the map balanced and fun for players- too easy for the offense is just a roll, too easy for the defense is an eternal stalemate with people sacking over and over to get something done.
If anything it would be less interesting than 5CP because there is no risk for the attacking team. They can sit there and do 4 man's until something happens without penalty, whereas in 5cp you would get punished for that.
I don't know. Maybe a map could be made that would be just perfect but I don't see it.
biskuitNew maps are fine, but the game is fucking awful at the moment.
I don't even think most people give a fuck about new maps anymore.
I would argue that most have never given a fuck about new maps. Or at least for the past few years.
But yeah, cart before the horse if it's maps/skins/etc instead of balance/mm fixes etc.
gg's kronge realm, was a fun match.
And as far as DLC goes, for levels/missions only one person in your group (host) needs to have them and the whole group can play. Different story for characters/weapons though.

LOGJAM PUGS?!?!?!?
No seriously though, if we can get everyone in one place and also have the ability to try out new maps/whitelists etc easily this will be god tier.
I really honestly just hope they fix the annoying as hell "I'm running away from the pyro and get airblasted and that stops me even though it should push me further away" crap.
I understand the appeal of modifying an existing map. People already know it (at least to an extent) and know the name, so it's easy to get support. You won't end up working on a map for years going "hey guys remember me I'm here pls halp"
That said, some maps aren't worth fixing. Turbine is on that list. I'd also say Granary is on that list personally, but here we are anyways.
Simple electric motor using wire and magnets would be pretty easy and science-y.
Who do I talk to to get this added to pugchamp for testing? I haven't heard much lately and want to work on this.
