There's always time to change and life uh, finds a way.
I liked robotics/math/science in high school. Decided to go to an engineering school.
Liked mechanical engineering, design/problem solving. So I majored in mechanical engineering.
Liked trains since I was a little kid. Said why not, applied to work on the railroad.
I am now a management trainee for the railroad in the mechanical department - the people who fix locomotives. I don't use much of what I learned in college with my degree, but the degree got me in the door. For a lot of companies, they hire college grads because college grads learned how to solve problems/deal with stress/make decisions etc., not necessarily because of what they know.
I played fortnite's PvE mode at PAX west, and it was really really fun. Something I've always wanted out of a game - build base with friends defend wave after wave of bad guys.
Unfortunately it sounds like there's some F2P bullshittery going on right now that's clouding the fun with obnoxious shit/paywalls preventing you from leveling etc in PvE. The game itself was fun though. Hopefully they figure it out by release.
This is where I come in for my tri-annual

Wait, I'm not relevant anymore, carry on...
The fact that my crazy work schedule means I can't really play on a team anymore in this game, I'm not quite good enough to know what's going on in pugchamp and valve's matchmaking is so shit that I essentially don't get to play ever anymore.
So I just looked around this again today after realizing that I had missed a PM for a few weeks, I have to say I really like where this map is going. It's looking a lot better, both visually and gameplay wise. I'd like to see some people try it out for 6's and see what works, etc.
I've always wanted to learn bari sax. That shit is just regal.

I just recorded/mixed this new demo today, it's going to be one of the tracks on the album I'm working on. I really dig it, hopefully you do too.
I'll be happy to try whatever ideas might fix things maps just as soon as I don't have to give out BJ's to get anyone's feedback.
OK, not the "First" screenshot in the list but it's in the first batch and more interesting than the first (first is the cart not upside down).

I've been doing shitty map things for a long time, boys.
The museum flight by Boeing field in south Seattle is pretty cool, would recommend.
Gas works park is also cool.
For food, Zeeks and Pagliacci are local pizza chains that are both pretty good. There's also Beth's cafe on Aurora by Greenlake that has 12 egg omelettes and good breakfast foods 24x7.
The museum of pop culture is also cool, particularly if you like sci-fi and/or rock and roll/music etc - it used to be split up as a Sci Fi museum and then the EMP - Experience Music Project, both are pretty cool.
Special thanks to Sidular! and TFCL for running Logjam this week. It was fun to get to finally play my map in a match. From my own point of view, I need to rework the entrances into last some more to make it more viable to use things other than upper right when pushing in.
If anyone else has feedback, I'd love to hear it.

One of my favorite live performances ever.
