I just built a pc in one of these a few months ago and it was extremely easy to work with. Plus the side/top panels are all the same so you can put the window on whatever side you want.

To expand on the watch demos thing. Watch muma, his traps at i58 were amazing. Also every time a demo places a trap pause the demo and for a few seconds think "what is the uber/player situation? what is he trying to accomplish with this trap?" Etc

I can't watch the video right this second to confirm but that sounds like cl_showpos 1. Before recording typing cl_showpos 0 and then alias "cl_showpos" "" should fix it.
