Yeah that's weird, it could be serving the favicons from the cache though.
How about trying "netsh int ip reset" and "netsh winsock reset" in an elevated command window, and then reboot.

You can try temporarily turning off windows firewall and your anti-virus and see if that helps
Have you tried opening a command window and doing "chkdsk" and "sfc /scannow"?
If sfc /scannow or chkdsk says it found corrupt files but couldn't restore them, I would download a (assuming you're using Win7) Windows 7 ISO from DigitalRiver (don't worry it's free and legal), burn it to a DVD and do "Repair my computer."
I use a dual monitor stand to save desk space, you might be able to get away with it too unless the attached hutch/shelving just gets in the way of 2 monitors regardless of stands.

As for a desk, I got a Martha Stewart desk from Staples when I moved into my apartment. It has USB and power ports built into the desk, and also holes for the wires on the left, center and right of the desk. It was on sale for $150. It owns alot.

There's still a ton of companies with special snowflake backend software made in Java, so I don't think it's going to go away anytime soon but this is pretty great news.
Last time I seriously focused on C# was back when .NET 2.0 just came out, I was making shitty pong clones using GDI/System.Drawing. Looked at it again today and it's like a completely new language. Good times.
a majority of the deep web is split between not interesting or not in english, hacker forums are pretty cool though
Pretty good aim, good demo play, finally realized that good temperament in comms is a big part of team chemistry.
ComangliaHardwire connection should probably eliminate 50-90% of that jitter.
agreed, and if a hardwire connection is an impossibility, powerline networking is a better alternative to wifi for latency-sensitive applications (assuming the wiring in your walls isn't shit or aluminum or w/e)
e: unless powerline networking doesn't work for european outlets? not sure

smoboKBlairYou shouldn't drop out of a CS program or you'll become a computer janitor like medidn't you tell me you make dope cash for minimal effort though
Enough to live comfortably on, but it took me a while to realize I could've been making a killing had I stuck with it.
Your setup should be more than enough for 120hz most of the time, but I have about the same specs (i5 2500k, R9 270x) and it'll get below 240 fps in pubs and highlander midfights.
I'd also recommend an SSD if you don't like waiting for your computer to do things.

GentlemanJondrshdwpuppetAny suggestions are hugely welcome.Run a little web server locally on the network perhaps, assuming the Lan network policy allows it. I realise this is another headache to manage but keep it simple (maybe even just an html page) and you wouldn't need a dedicated machine for it.
Alternatively would you say mobile internet use is high enough amongst individuals to be reliably used for the purpose? Players could potentially access an outside information channel that way.
Yeah, it would be cool to have a webapp that mass texts the 2 teams involved in a match to try and reduce delays, but it would have to be automated and not buggy to reduce workload for organizers, not add to it.
Also, I'll volunteer to clean the bathrooms once in a while next lan if they'll let me. That shit was a human rights violation.
Geknaiir's likable personality and skill almost make up for the amount of times he'll drop a hard r in a night.
