#1 Game freezes for 5-10 seconds every few minutes in Q/A Help

So this started happening randomly to me like 2 or 3 days ago. It happened first while playing csgo mm, then i played some dirty bomb and it happened as well, and it's happening on tf2 as well, so I know for sure its not a game specific problem.

I checked temps on my pc and processor and everything seems to be normal temp. This is really annoying, never happened to me and I have a decent pc so it definitely shouldn't happen. It just freezes/crashes completely for 5-10 seconds and then unfreezes and usually some keys are not working when it unfreezes so I have to alt tab out and in of the game again for the keys to work.

250GB SSD

#29 Game Sense Monthly Mayhem in News

I really love this, it's an amazing initiative and amazing support from razer, but I feel every day cups might get saturated really quick, specially with no matchmaking launch yet, they would have been perfect with matchmaking active but currently I fear most days might not get enough active teams

300$ tourney that i'd love to play in
I don't know how I feel about a comp scene before the game even comes out. Seems like it would make it almost impossible to break into if you weren't in the initial wave to network and practice

This really puts me off from the game. I mean at this point I play games for the competitive side of it alone, very rarely I play just casually and if I do it certainly isn't FPS's. And having a few selected people gain advantage and also networking with possible teams / orgs before all us "plebs" get to try it its just such a huge turn off... You know in 4 or 5 months when most people eventually get to play the game (if we do) the top of the competitive scene will already be a circlejerk hard to break through.

#4 Good noise cancellation headphones in Hardware

If you want on hear headphonees I can recommend the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro, it's the ones I have and I bought them second hand for around $70 and they are amazing, they're closed and have really good noise cancelling. Already have them for like 4 years and only had to replace pads and they look like new

#2 I need some help smoothing a pov demo. in Videos

What is the problem you're having?

Do you want the smooth to follow the arrow from behind and you're not managing to quite get it?

In my experience from doing that kind of ranged smooths following projectiles you need to compensate for the pov delay and place the keys a bit behind the projectile to be able to follow it properly

HKanecoYou know the shift that will eventually happen if adblockers get mass usage is that most sites will rely on subscription models or even more agressive kind of ads, it's a lose-lose situation, both for the content producers as well as the visitors.
This will be the answer for some sites, some news sites have already moved behind a paywall (eg. thetimes). However a more pragmatic solution that is already in the works is a defined standard of ads that is acceptable to all parties in terms of size, content. positioning and source.

The majority of viewers can live with this scenario view the content.

That was already proved unsucessful after a couple adblocker extensions including the original ones tried to add a whitelist of non-introsive reviewed ads and there was a huge outcry all over the web with clickbait titles over the devs of these extensions taking bribes and selling out to advertisers. People have to understand that if you're not paying for something then you are the product being sold, they can't just have their cake and eat it too.

MasterKuni1) Ad networks did this to themselves. Pop-unders, flash ads, allowing arbitrary javascript execution, full-screen modals covering content, automatic app-store redirects on iOS/Android devices. Screw all of that noise. Facebook is one of the only categorically non-terrible ad networks because they only allow static images.

If blocking ads means a shift in the way the web is monetized, that's fine with me. At least it means websites won't be able to track my browsing habits, steal my bandwidth, and waste my time by loading and rendering junk I didn't ask for and don't want to see

You know the shift that will eventually happen if adblockers get mass usage is that most sites will rely on subscription models or even more agressive kind of ads, it's a lose-lose situation, both for the content producers as well as the visitors.

MasterKuni2) If I'm on a mobile device, accessing a site is also costing me money. Every megabyte transferred costs the user orders of magnitude more than the pittance of bandwidth it costs the website hosting provider. According to this article, one single page load of CNN costs 14 cents, and 9 cents of that is just for the advertising payload!

But that's a problem of infrastructure and competition in your country, for example I have a mobile 1gb plan for about 8€/month (5gb is around 14€) and it's more than enough for a month even with heavy usage (unless you consume a lot of video)-.
