r4ptureA question for those involved, are there any more plans to use this? For a streaming event perhaps?
Lange did say on stream the code for the dota fortress segment would be released open source for the community to work with in future events.
Awesome event, didn't have time to watch every event but left the stream open the whole weekend, the stream production always seemed top notch. Really impressed with the Jump segment (as always fantastic and very interesting, the jump community is awesome) and the dota segment (congratz atmo that was a sick way to pull it off, and lange as well)
For some reason I thought Robin was a bit anticlimatic, but it helped us so all is good in the end.
I can see this becoming the Awesome Games Done Quick of TF2, and leaving a huge legacy behind.
If you look at AGDQ improvement it went from $53,379.83 (2011) > $149,044.99 (2012) > $448,423.27 (2013) > $1,031,159.00 (2014)
Granted this is a shorter format, I still can see a lot of run for improvement and growth for tip of the hats, and it helps not only the kids but tf2 community and the competitive community, I'm sure a lot of people will experiment a few lobbies after the event. Great event overall.
kaNSound ain't working on cs:go, just some buzzing noise... Shame, I'll use it once it's fixed I guess.
I have had this problem for a long time even without this program (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-ETSeKX5ts), that was using a custom config I created.
I was never able to solve it.
But I have heard the cause is that valve limits csgo recording @ 30 fps and anything above that just messes up the sound. Maybe try it?
Snakewater would be really good if the spawns weren't fucked. You spawn under the ground in 1 or 2 locations.
Also I preferred back when bball mge was 1v1, that was much more good practise than having to wait 45 mins for 4 people, ever since bball 1v1 got removed from mge I stopped playing bball mge all together because there is simply not enough people joining to get a match started
I also love badlands mid if no ones using gay tactics.
The entire Chromeo discography
not necessarily disco but more of an electro funk
For me queued single thread (mat_queue_mode 1 in your config) solves this issue completely.
You should not use it on your playing config tho as it decreases your fps a lot as far as I know.
This can actually be one of the most interesting matches of the season. A battle to avoid last place in prem :D
lampWell I tried to learn medic but I still gave up in the middle of learning it
lampaudie Im sorry about that I was just trolling but now I REALLY NEED HELP OF WHAT TO DO IN THIS GAME
lampCapSize I took a five months break from the game and when I came back I completely sucked at my main class at the time which was sniper, and I tried getting good at others but got bored and gave up in the process
lampTruDom I tried stop playing but I can't, I just love this game but I just need to find what to do in it
lampMrxist But pubs don't make you good, I want to get good
lampBenk When I play a class I just get bored of it and give up, but fine ill choose a class
Considering you're not trolling, if you really want to get good, let me just tell you, you are never going to do it with that attitude, whether it is at tf2 or anything else in life.
Man up and stop being such a pussy about everything, getting good at anything in life is not easy, it's quite a bumpy road actually, full of "boring", "hard" and whatever you want to call it phases, if you're gonna give up at the slightest failure you will never accomplish anything.
The camera work was really top notch on this, great work! I don't think this kind of music is very fitting for tf2 fragmovies but I still loved it nonetheless and it was a bit of a nostalgia overload, so I kinda have to thank you for that.
slopawYesNot related to the subject at all but you might want to go play 6s in ETF2L, UGC 6s is mostly for fucking around with stupid unlocks.
I just have no idea how to get into etf2l. And I figured UGC would be better to start off with for a "noob" like me. :3
It's pretty easy to get into etf2l, and UGC 6v6 EU is kind of a Joke since etf2l encompasses all skill levels.
It's not similar to the NA situation where a player would first look at improving in UGC before having the level to compete in ESEA. In europe you can start playing etf2l at just about any skill level. Just start in div6 and improve from there.
