A pretty popular tf2 youtuber shouted out newbie mixes earlier this week, so please come coach if you get a chance. Also, I think I might be the only admin on tonight, so please don't make me beg my friends list all night.
How in the world does your worldview get so warped and twisted that you think that is either a reasonable thing to believe or an appropriate thing to share at this time? I'm actually disgusted.
i havent slept in a month sry
We're proud to announce our final "class" of the event. At 7:00 pm est, the "6v6 Pro Panel" will take place, featuring various top level players from both NA and EU. Students are expected to come with questions aimed at particular players or questions open towards anyone. There will be no premade content for this course, so any information you get will have to an answer to these questions.
With well over a hundred seasons of combined top-tier experience, the panel will include the following players
kaidus
Mike
kos
Silentes
clockwork
skeej
Dr. Phil
josh
clockwork
Josh
+ a few more
Course requirement: ESEA-IM or ETF2L High experience
To get the absolute best information we can from this panel, we are restricting those who can actually partake in the discussions to players with a relatively high skill level. We'll be checking sign up experience. Also, signing up isn't so much a reservation of a slot as it is a commitment to be there.
If you don’t meet the requirements, don’t worry! This and all other courses will be archived and uploaded to TF2Stadium’s youtube channel and made available to everyone. We will also be offering many classes with no skill requirements for anyone and everyone to sign up for. If you sign up for a course without meeting the stated requirements, you will be banned from any and all courses you’ve signed up for. You will also be barred from attending similar events in the future. Don’t do it!
Anyways, here's the link: http://classes.tf2stadium.com/classes/31/
Looking forward to Saturday!
I'll be doing semi-casual casts of various 6v6 games from ESEA, razer arena, and other tourneys/leagues with my bro flatline, and other casters in the future. More info will be posted on this thread later, but we're doing our first thing tonight.
If you've got decent esea experience and are interested in doing camerawork or casting, hit me up and I'll see what we can do.
Registration closes in 4 minutes. If you need someone, hmu via tftv dm
May want to get rid of the less-standard maps. Gl with the tourney, though!
lft roamer im
also roamer or anything else open if cool dudes
I may end up throwing a team together though.
Please turn bullet spread off.
AlkalineRIP watching Democratic Debate #lifepriorities
Debate shouldn't start for an hour after the last panel ends, unless I'm incredibly stupid (this is a very big possibility)
Ond_kajaQueue system for slots isn't a good idea because it slows down the start of lobbies since people would rather elect to queue for a scout spot rather than add up as medic or demo. TF2Pickup used to have a similar system and there were like 10+ people queuing for a scout spot or something ridiculous like that.
This is not a final feature, but just an idea proposed by the devs a while ago (shown in the progression of the site).
After just under four months of development, we’ve finished enough to where we need to push into a closed alpha phase. If you’re curious as to the features we’ve accumulated over the course of the past four months, we’ve been chugging away at developing the site, organizing administrative stuff, and running various community projects (some which will be announced soon). Right now, our feature set includes themes, map/class/format filters, settings saved across computers, and a unique lobby creation wizard, on top of the obvious features like joining a lobby.
Also to celebrate, we thought it’d be a good idea to post an image of some of our progress along the way:

These initial alpha tests aren’t intended to be particularly fun, and the group of testers is very small. When we reach closed beta, we’ll have info available on how to sign up and play in actual lobbies. Thanks again to the entire community for all the support you’ve given us over the past few months, and we look forward to giving you guys an awesome final product.
We need coaches tonight. Lots of people added up, no coaches coming into mumble. chi4.tragicservers.com 64737
edite: we're done drafting for tonight. thanks!
So in a fit of Thursday early evening boredom, we got 12 people to try it out. It doesn't work right now (duh) because of the whole not-yet-finished thing.
But it did weird stuff at several points. There were problems with beta passes (which ~half of us randomly had, the other half didn't) and then the queue would just spit anything out once we actually did get in. Tragedy.
