I think the idea on the surface seems nice, but the problem is both gamemodes are pretty flawed on the surface to begin with.
TC you have no control over which points are contested.
Domi as Royce said, you're basically doing a Texas Two-step around each other.
Another factor to consider is tc_hydro is non-symmetrical, which severely limits it's comp potential to begin with.
So TBH I don't see anything happening with Hyrdo itself.
we should do it on stream today...
What about an Ultiduo minicup on Friday night of LAN? Take the combos from the teams and invite a couple of CSGO players for some bragging rights and/or a small cash prize.
technosexHere are all of x6's season 8 STVs. I think I got them from Clandestine -- he might have more.

Thank you very much! Had a look at 2 1/2 already, lots of interesting things to look at so far. Couple of places where error signs making for terrible hat replacements but not too disruptive so far.
This is rapidly turning into a old Looney Tunes cartoon...
Hi there.
I'm currently working on a concept show, the premise of which is a pseudo-cast of older matches with the intention of studying how the metagame has evolved over the years. The neat thing about it is I also want to bring along a player who was in the match to be in the discussion as well. While it's still in the rough draft phase of the show design I think I have enough to begin looking at producing a pilot episode.
So what I'm looking for to start with is some STV demos, preferably ESEA Invite or IM from around seasons 7-10. As from reading it appears these are the earliest demos that might still be working on the current version of TF2.
If you have a demo or demos you'd like to provide, feel free to add me on Steam at http://steamcommunity.com/id/LKincheloe/ .
Thanks!
crespiCould cp_foundry ever be taken seriously as a new map?
Not trolling.
It's way too open on points, 2 and 4 could easily be a last point anywhere else.
From a Spectator Standpoint on the current maplist:
1. Badlands is like Soldier Field or Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It's not a season without it.
2. Metalworks just got here, so it still has that new map shine.
3. Gullywash is pretty cool.
4. Granary is nice, but it's showing it's age and is very stalemate happy.
5. Process is the bastard child of Badlands and Granary, so kinda on the edge.
6. Snakewater is a solid map.
7. Viaduct... Eh... I don't know honestly...
8. Gravelpit... Always a wild card, always a good spectator map.
Of New Maps:
1. cp_Edifice - Supposed to be a GPit substitute, but is it ready for primetime?
2. cp_Quay - This one has been around a bit but still has some ways to go
3. cp_ashville - a ha ha ha! NOPE.AVI
4. koth_badlands - 'cause why not? :P
If I had to put a rotation together for next season:
1. Metalworks
2. Gullywash
3. Gravelpit
4. Granary
5. Snakewater
6. Edifice
7. Process
8. Badlands
Let's be honest Redban, most of the things of TFtv are for the birds!
If the argument is to be made for Main then we need a stronger IM division first, if there isn't a big enough talent pool to keep Invite close to even where would we get people to fill another 12-16 teams in Main?
Also, if Invite is expanding, this would be the perfect time for teams to go out and find a sponsor...
If they really banned for the plugin useage, then I guess the moral of the story is League Admins should test suspicious things on alt accounts.
Hopefully this means they're adding 4 more teams...?
