Because my internet has been acting like shit lately to the point where i cant play 80% of the time and I have a ton of demos from pugs and pubs, I am probably gonna make another frag video. Just wondering if anyone wants to see anything specific. I liked that medic video that guy posted a few days ago on here (rusty bodega??) and was curious as to what you guys would want to see. I have been using the default HUD with larger damage numbers and the only thing that i would like to change with it right now would be when you die, it doesn't say the enemy's health, it just has the cross with filling in it to show you where their health is roughly. Is it possible for me to add something to the files to make their current health show when they kill me like other HUDs?

EDIT:so that this post isnt totally useless, do exactly what #7 said. The only reason you will get bashed for having this game play is because it was a lobby where most people are either dicking around, or very new to competitive TF2. Its really hard to see how good or bad of a player you are off of this because as he said, you wont get punished for a lot of the mistakes you make.

grapeFor lawena's normal recording hud, basically what it does is disable all of the visual elements that it doesn't want through hudlayout by setting the "visible" and "enabled" to "0".
To turn on an element and have it be the normal default hud style you just need to set them back to 1.
To add an element from a custom hud (like m0re's damage numbers and oxide's health and ammo) you have to:
- replace the section in the hudlayout (for damage numbers this was CDamageAccountPanel)
- add the corresponding file in resource/ui(which was HudDamageAccount.res)
- and install the related fonts in ClientScheme.res if you need to
WaldoIt's a modified hud that only has damage numbers enabled. There's a lot of movie huds out there with certain elements removed, though the you could pretty easily take an existing hud and make it into something like that by disabling most of the elements.I think it's much easier to just enable the parts you need in the recording hud than disabling everything in your own, but I suppose either method would work.
