Not really since it seems you already have over a hundred hours in KSP, so I don't think it'll be that bad. In the end, it just goes to how much you practice/play TF2 in comparison I'd say. If you do feel like it's throwing you off, then maybe warm up your aim. If anything you could convert your sensitivity from TF2 to other games.

This one is simple. Put 6v6, HL (for highlander), or whatever other gamemode you’re looking for here. Be weary that you probably won’t find scrims for the more obscure formats in a timely manner, if ever.
Channel's always been open to HL, just primarily people use it for 6s. Make a change.

I don't know man, your options come down to:
Quake 1/2/3/4/World/Live/CPMA, Xonotic, Reflex, Toxikk, Warsow, UT Series, and Ratz Instagib?
Definitely missing a few out, but when it comes down to it, not many AFPS are left to offer to you until Diabotical and Quake Champions come out. I also don't know what your definition of dead is, but Reflex/CPMA are fairly alive/hanging, you just have to join one of their discords(such as the one Ben linked for CPMA).
