I think it's good to practice pistol. Mastering the scout class includes having a very well aim and use of each of it's weapons. That includes the pistol definitely. There are some situations where you might need it, it might be the thing that changes a midfight if you're the last one alive vs their other last one alive. By practicing pistol and as well as scatter, you get better at aiming in general which definitely is good.
Think of it like this:
1v1 Midfight vs their scout as the last ones at a midfight
Both of you guys have about maybe 40hp, and you're low on scattergun shots while the enemy may have more. But with the pistol, you can efficiently take down the enemy in a few shots that the scattergun may not be able to ensure a good one shot and at the speed it's going, while the pistol shots go faster.
Something like that, it could also be a mid-long range fight also.

They can still make money off of hats, people will still buy them. People shouldn't care in the first place if their magical unusual hats or whatever can't be seen or not. Many people will probably still keep the hats in their game, as now snipers will finally have a challenge to actually shoot heads, not hats.

Not completely a straight upgrade, you can't be healed with it out.
Valve may be willing to actually help out the game more, but they neglect the obvious and will tend to make bad choices that can be easily avoided.
Also, they BS many weapons by saying "No Random Crits", maybe they should do the same for The Escape Plan since that's one of their main ideas of "nerfing".

I like how Pyro pretty much got away with it again this update. They say that are using statistics on the most used weapons of each class. Pretty sure Degreaser/Flaregun/Axtinguisher would be in the very top of them.

I honestly don't know how people always seems to get scammed this way still. If you really cared about your unusual, you'd go through the procedure of making sure that person is a legit person, not an alt. Have rep, consider using middleman, and etc. Never be careless when it comes to a trade involving money and one person is able to get away with it. Also never go first I think.
