#61 Rhy LFT in Recruitment (looking for team)

Rhy's really awesome and I'm glad I picked him up for my team. He does get emotional while playing but I personally find that he's reliable and mature enough that I found it not really affecting me that much (and I can be really sensitive to tilt). At the end of the season our team was a little bit on the dead side so he switched to playing scout with one of my friends stepping in as demo, and actually did really good on the small shooty class considering he hasn't really played it much (because contrary to what he says, he actually does have enough of a brain to pick his fights wisely).

He gets how the game is played even with his long hiatus and his comms are pretty standout. He'd do well on a high-energy team so plz give him a home.

Nice quiet boy who will fool you into subscribing for wasp facts premium and then only give you the freebie deal.

In all seriousness a very dedicated gamer - I've said it in his LFT before, but he really enjoys playing this game and getting better at it and I feel like this character trait is on the decline in the given climate. Also super reliable as a teammate and will always be good about balancing his IRL stuff with gaming well ahead of time so he won't suddenly bail on you.

#1493 ESEA Open S26 Happenings/Discussion in TF2 General Discussion

I think it's fitting that my playtime in ESEA ends on a match that couldn't be played because of client issues.

I'm glad the new ESEA management, that expected such punctuality of out of its playerbase that it killed a division when the players didn't deliver, was able to provide an equally punctual paid service in return :)

gg to everyone we played, you guys are all great, and special thanks to tri for being a one-man army manning the madhouse.

I watched him fight his battle through the little snippets he posted in the admin discord, but it never really... quite felt real. He always had a joke to say about it when he sent messages from his hospital bed to still try and help out our admin team despite everything he was going through.

You were truly one of the most outstanding and dedicated members of this community, and one of the most honest. You will be missed.

#5 LFT Demoman Scout Or Soldier in Recruitment (looking for team)

Extremely nice hardworking guy, very reliable as a teammate, I NEVER EVER heard him say a bad word or even anything remotely negative to anyone no matter how hard we were losing. Is a pounder but like feathers said could use a little bit of work on his pacing. Please give him a good home, he deserves it more than anyone.

#65 ESEA S26 Rosters in TF2 General Discussion

I've had enough players add me looking to play to make two or three separate teams. If you think you might want to lead but don't know where to start, add me and I can help you get started on putting together a team. I've lead something like 10 separate teams in three years so I've learned a bit about the process. http://steamcommunity.com/id/thebunnysaur/

#52 ESEA S26 Rosters in TF2 General Discussion

At least 15 more. There are currently 15 rosters entered into ESEA open, I haven't checked any of them to see if they are maybe new IM-ready teams that will get moved up. Assuming not everyone has made a roster yet, that's still a fuckload of teams that we need.

The thing is there actually are enough players in ESEA to make that many teams, even without any newbie initiatives. There just aren't enough leaders. I got added by enough people to make two or three whole rosters since I put up my LFP three days ago.

Yoooo demomen who want to play but not play too much, hit me up. I'm potentially down to med if we can get a demo that works well with our team.

#1 LFP S26 Open in Recruitment (looking for players)

Hello gamers, I decided to try making a team.

Looking to scrim pregame + match on match nights, plus one extra day of scrims (9:30/10:30). Maybe two days if people are free and want to play TF2 that week. Probably an ideal team for people who feel like they just don't have time to commit to a serious team but who still want to continue playing because they enjoy the teamwork aspect of the game. That being said, I don't really care what your experience is, as long as you're a positive and fun person.

There will be some demo reviews squeezed in here and there and I do expect discussions about problems we come across in scrims, but I also want to keep this team fun and something that gives you time for work/school/friends (who has those?), or maybe pugs or ringing for other teams.

Roster:
Scouts: bluespacecrab, ?
Roamer: Zoma
Pocket: Redshirt
Demo: Rhy
Medic: Mallory

Subs:
chompa, Grumpy

Looking for chill gamers who like to hang out and nerd out about TF2. Add me here: http://steamcommunity.com/id/thebunnysaur

#6 gloperz lft mid-high open pocket in Recruitment (looking for team)

I ran into glo by complete chance when I was emoing out and playing pub medic by myself. I saw a soldier with noticeably good DM and thought process, we started a small conversation. Turned out he was interested in competitive, but had never played a single season and mostly stuck to pugs. Sack-based Characters, the team that I was subbing for at the time, lost their pocket, and I recommended that they give glo a try.

It seriously cannot be overstated how much natural affinity this guy has for 6s and pocket. He isn't afraid to lead, isn't afraid to commit, and his DM and gamesense after one season is better than players I know who are on their seventh+ season. He's also friendly, vocal, and untiltable. Sometimes you meet players who just seem to have this natural talent for the game; it's rare, but immediately recognizable. Glo is one of those people, and I know that if he wants it, he will go very far, and very fast.

His biggest weakness right now is his lack of experience. He makes things difficult for himself because of it, lacking the foresight of past experiences to truly be efficient. If he can get a team that challenges him, he's going to level up to become an absolute monster.
