i don't really feel like leading next season, so i'm lft as almost anything. preference is soldier > scout > demo
not a super strong caller, but i can do macro calls (where to push and when). i can also play both loose-leash and shotgun pocket decently well. i alternate a lot depending on the map and situation. i really like to off-class on scout and roamer. i haven't touched demo in open but i'm fairly confident i can do well on most teams.

it'll be more soldier dominant than granary. a map test wouldn't hurt, but i don't think it'll go well.
MarmieI quit playing tf2 about a year ago now after playing at a medium-high level in europe (div2) and play cs like many others have, but still enjoy tf2, here are some serious suggestions that I think could develop tf2 to be taken more seriously before matchmaking is fully implemented and hopefully opens alot of peoples eyes to comp tf2
- Make it 5v5 , 12 players is too many and makes it all look like a mess with too much going on too a newer player, also opens up more tactical choices with 5 players instead of 6 and how to play the 5th player and what class
-respawn times, ubercharges and cap times longer, this makes each push more important and precise, slowing the game down bringing more tactics and making each play more important also leading to less people trying to play individually - puttin the team in team fortress 2
In my opinion the core dynamics of 6v6 could be refined to open up to a larger audience and make it a much more exciting and interesting game to play and spectator, 6v6 just looks like a dm server with comms at the moment

1. 6s is fine. if you have trouble watching it, you're either COMPLETELY new to TF2 or just not paying attention
2. so basically you want to slow down the game so people can get into it easier? that's dumb. you shouldn't have to lower the skill ceiling cause people can't play a fast paced game. imagine if in CSGO or Quake you spawned with armor. sure, it makes the game easier for the new player, but it makes the game just a tad bit less skillful (esp in Quake where item tracking and map control is so crucial).
3. this kind of ties in with 1 too. i remember my first big LAN that i watched. was ESEA S15 LAN. it was without a doubt one of the most exciting LANs i've ever watched. i have NEVER touched 6s then and was only playing iron HL. you don't need to be a mastermind of the game to follow what's going on.
i THINK viewmodel_fov can make it so you can't see tracers. i use that to keep the sparks but get rid of the tracers.

DishSoapMartyhighlander at the highest level right now is just pocketing and playing around your sniper until he gets a pick. people will push off of sniper picks because they're just as valued as a demo pick is, and if the other team is playing correctly, the only way you're going to consistently get a sniper pick is from another sniper. prolander will just turn into a game where the performance of your sniper will heavily rely on whether or not you get the W.stop speaking
i think stabby's a super cool guy and all, but you can't trash talk 6s for being stale while simultaneously backing the most stale gamemode in tf2.
