You can try going under Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Event Viewer, go under the Windows Logs->System on the left pane and see if there are any logged system errors around the time you crashed.

smakersOnce you start trying to make up for everyone's unfortunate life events, you may as well say that we're obligated to give every homeless person a handful of change because they were dealt a bad hand. Yes, it sucks that bad things happen to good people, but, once again, how does it become the responsibility of everyone else to monetarily make up for that, especially when there are countless financial assistance programs that do just that?

Pub with CEVO map rotation

A friend of mine runs a 24-slot no-crit, no-spread pub that currently runs on a competitive-only map rotation (currently drawn from the UGC HL rotation).

raysDid a bit more research and found that I could get the i5-4670k and the Z87-UD3H for ~$350 on Amazon, so I think that'll be my best bet.
Again, I appreciate all of the input guys. Assuming everything goes well and all that, I might be selling my FX-8350 in a few weeks to someone who might be able to make better use of it and appreciate it a bit more than I did. It still worked more than okay for just playing the game; it just didn't ever seem to be quite at the level I was looking for when I was streaming.

I'm almost certain your current processor is performing at least as well as the 4670k for streaming performance.
Are you sure you want to drop $350 on a processor for an unknown and probably marginal benefit?

For the love of all that is holy, don't get any of those cheap mics. I used the Zalman clip-on for awhile and it was garbage.
Antlion Modmics are absolutely fantastic and the only headset-mountable mic I can really recommend.
