I guess it's less of future proofing and more of not minding spending extra money on a part that is slightly better than an older one. About the streaming issue I believe it has more so to do with my GPU more so than CPU, as well as other issues I've had with the computer mainly RAM and BSODing a while back.

If it's not to much could you spec out a build if I want to build soon? And if I end up waiting I'll come back august/septemberish?

Many games don't use more than the first 2 or 3 cores right? I don't think I would benefit from more cores because I don't really do anything that would make use of those extra cores, I could be wrong though. By future proofing I meant more along the lines of I'd rather go with a 1080/1070 over a 980/970 even if the difference between them isn't that big. Streaming isn't my primary goal just something I'd like to do. My current desktop (FX-8350 and HD 7770) can't really handle it very well although it is possible on it. I'd rather not wait till August or September to build if at all possible unless it is really worth it to wait.

For monitors: I'd be fine with just a 144 hz TN panel then.

Good for 1v1'ing scouts and clearing sticks on badlands last and that's about it tbh

Hey Setsul, I'm looking to buy my computer with in the next week or so, do you expect anything to release within that time that would be worth waiting for?

Budget is between $1500-$2000 including 144 hz monitor (1080p) and windows key. I want as much future proofing as possible so I don't have to upgrade too much in the near future. Don't really do video editing or any heavy rendering. This will primarily be used for games and general not too intensive school work. I don't do picture or digitial editing so colors on the monitor don't have to be that high quality. I would loke to be able to stream though

As close to 144+ fps on medium settings preferebly high settings at the very least for games like The Division. Rainbow 6 siege, Far Cry, Triple A titles, etc.

Think I have everything that you usually ask for

You can win 0 rounds the first 50 minutes of a match and the last 10 minutes you lose all 5 rounds because you choked or something, but that match would have been close for the majority of it

To be fair -10 health is pretty much irrelevant as Medic since you'll still take 2 meatshots, 2 rockets, 2 pipes, 3 stickies and 1 headshot to kill. It's also kind of like the Ubersaw except of instantly getting the benefits you have to die first. 2 hits with the vita saw and you get 30% uber when you spawn, 2 hits with the ubersaw you get 50% and you might die before you can make use of it

Scoreboard ping is also off by about 30. Still not that bad since everyone else also has an extra 30 or so ping added to their scoreboard ping as well.
