aierawhat incentivizes my switch?
Active developers and better admins?
Only problem I've got with that is that it's self fulfilling. More people play TF2C because more people play TF2C?
It's probably true, but if you make the switch it becomes less true. At the very least just join TF2C lobbies while you're waiting for a Stadium lobby to ready :P
This might be the wrong place for this, but I can find no place better. Part of the reason Stadium is so dead is that it lacks some basic functionality a lot of people have come to expect because of TF2C. Right now, it looks more modern, and that's its only immediate advantage. Some people don't even like that.
For one--there's no visible status for who is already in the game and mumble servers. It's nice to be able to see exactly who you're waiting on at a glance (plus, if you're in a lobby that's not mumble required, some people feel encouraged to join anyway when they see the rest of the team in mumble). For another thing, Stadium doesn't automatically open up logs after the game ends; it wasn't until my 4th lobby I noticed that it was linked in the chat. While that is sufficient, it's not nearly as convenient as TF2C.
As for hosting lobbies, Stadium has done a few things that TF2C doesn't, like saving your server's address, or the ability to add slot requirements after opening the lobby. Even there you lose some functionality as well. For example, you can't reserve specific slots for your friends--or if you can, I can't figure out how; there's a "slot password" field but nowhere to specify which slots. While these are minor issues, when there is already an alternative with a much larger playerbase that does include these small features, it's tough to get people to switch for more than a day or two.
I don't think there's a whole lot more Stadium can do to improve the experience of the average user. The layout is clean; joining a lobby, and subsequently the mumble and game, is easy, and navigating the site is done more cleanly, with far fewer tabs than TF2C (though even there I've heard people complaining that the extra tabs are actually a good feature). From my perspective, the best way for Stadium to improve right now is in shortening the lobby creation experience, along the lines of an already existing feature: saving a server's address. Quicksaved lobbies--the ability to save to a single click of a button the lobby's game mode, league config, and slot requirements, and to save to another single click both the server address and rcon password. Beyond that and bugfixes, it's a pretty site with ready systems that are less prone to error, both on the site and in game. Here's hoping!
Bumpin. YOU could be trying out this very evening

I'm getting some annoying conflict issues as well. Signed up for one class that goes from 2:30-3:30, and now I can't sign up for anything that ends at 2 or starts at 4.
