Just got T8, first non-smash fighting game I have ever played. How long does it take for people to actually understand what moves to use and when? On the demo I just mashed 3 moves.

Mong- Israel also has military buildings near civilian areas.
Of course - but that is not enough to mean they use human shields like Hamas. Remember this key important point: there are no specifically military buildings in Gaza. There are only civilian buildings, taken over by Hamas to shoot their rockets from inside, often with civilians purposefully in them.
To add, according to the Geneva Convention article 19 states that hospitals are not valid military targets unless they are used to commit acts deemed harmful to the enemy, such as using them as positions to fire from. However, to attack them, warnings must be given along with reasonable time limits. There are similar clauses defining when places of cultural significance are given similar protections but are not explicitly mentioned in the geneva conventions.

Prime-SanityWhy does everyone think just because someone cheated in a video game they are a horrible piece of shit in real life?
Not defending anyone just curious.
Because while we all are dishonest to some extent, cheating is just next level dishonesty that signals the willingness to throw their team under the bus with possible overturns of matches (although I hope eli's teammates this season knew this was a possibility) and steal accomplishments such as match wins from people who played legitimately.
wonderoflROME has Fallen. LEBRONSTANTINOPLE Stands.
Once we rebrand as the Ottoman Empire LEBRONSTANTINOPLE stands no chance.
I think you just have to be used to moving your whole arm around for aiming. I play on 2.5 at 400 dpi (16in/360) and I never really had any glaring issues with sensitivity being too low to move around. I can turn a little over 180 degrees with one swipe. Granted, I play demo and scout, and my soldier jumping is shit. If I were a soldier player I may have to increase my sensitivity.
fyg Please someone make it make sense.
Literally the only non-cheating explanation I could come up with is a lucky mouse lift, in the case of the soldier instantly stopping, and lucky mouse movement that coincidentally made the crosshair track a target. I am not sure how many demos that Dippity combed through but it seems like it didn't take many demos to find all these suspicious situations, making luck incredibly unlikely.
springrollsMany cheaters across different games and formats (fps, speedruns, etc.) are, like it or not, actually good at the game without the cheats.
Eli definitely has good dm already. When I play against his team on Demo it's not like he runs in straight lines and two shots me, his movement is top advanced/invite level. Cheats just reduces the mental load and makes the easy shots extremely consistent based on the clips. My teammates think that fighting Eli is significantly harder than fighting Jay, which combined with all the history of cheating and the fact that Jay is considered the best player in the game DM wise is very suspicious.
RyotI'm asking what he could due to prove he was or wasn't cheating
He already did everything he could to prove he was cheating or not by streaming and uploading his demos which contain some pretty damning evidence. Going to LAN to prove his innocence is like if I robbed a bank, but realized I was going to get caught, so I returned the money and I expect to not be arrested. The people defending him have probably been told "why would I cheat if I want to go to LAN lol" and have been manipulated into believing his bullshit. Y'all are getting mixed by a teenager lol.
While there may be a more elegant approach, I like the idea behind the changes in the season/playoff structure. Being in rock-bottom invite I appreciate the fact that we get to play more matches against teams closer to our level instead of playing Froyo twice. We can actually see what works and what doesn't during actual match conditions more often instead of being wrong no matter what we do.
enthrowThere's no way the average pubber can reliably tell the difference between a cheater and a guy who isn't holding his mouse upside down.
While I definitely agree, I don't trust anyone except AC admins to determine cheaters, I would think the difference between a bot and an actual player is going to be pretty obvious.
Twiggyyour argument could also apply to the engineer and with that logic you quickly remove more classes than just the sniper
The "slippery slope" fallacy just does not make sense here. Engineer is and will never be as strong as sniper is except in very specific situations and is actually counterable by other classes.
chellWould be cool to have this so it doesn't feel the home team advantage is so significant as well.
Simply be seeded higher. Oh wait home team is random get fucked I guess.
Is whoever gets home team random now? I've had 2 matches where my team was the away team despite being seeded higher.
chellNew weapons is fun for a bit but doesn't solve any long term problems. I am of the opinion tf2 really just need some balance changes (gutting the weapons touge mentioned) and optimizations so 240hz is viable for people with good computers without making the game look worse than half life 1
I don't think any optimizations will happen ever. From what I understand most of the original developers of tf2 are on other projects, and optimizing old code is a pain in the ass. What would help tf2 performance a lot is making it use more CPU cores but I think it requires rewriting much of the code to work in parallel.
