I'm looking to see if someone has a FPS config that's better than Comanglia's Toaster Config. I don't know why I struggle to have smooth gameplay in this game even with 100+ FPS, but I just do.

I run an OC'd Pentium G3258 with a R9 270, yet still feel a lack of smoothness when there's over 12 players in a server. So my question is, does anyone have a better FPS config? I'm looking for the absolute best config, with no comprimises (except screen resolution), but still avoiding commands that make your game ugly yet do nothing.

For a while now, I've been thinking about starting to play Ultiduo to make my skills w/ a medic better. The only problem is, when I went looking around, I quickly found out that for some reason there is almost nothing on the topic, and the only actual people I've seen play Ultiduo are freaking monsters.

I feel like Ultiduo would be WAY more relevant to actual matches than MGE, and it could be really beneficial to me.

The best thing I found was a 2v2 MGE Server. Should I post a thread about the server in general discussion so maybe people could go and 2v2 there, or is there some general group about Ultiduo?

imo, it's worlds better than most of any other gaming headset for the cost, but I wouldn't take it over audiophile headphones and a clip-on mic.

Keep in mind that surround sound isn't a necessity for gaming. With the right sound settings you should be fine using stereo. Even if you still want surround, you can just use Razer Surround. You shouldn't be able to tell the difference between Razer Surround and Real Surround on headphones, unless you're an audiophile with really good ears.

I went back to the drawing board and used an HDMI cable instead of a VGA Cable, in an attempt to get 75Hz without scaling issues. It worked. 60Hz (Stock) → 67Hz (VGA w/out scaling issues) → 74.5Hz (Maximum w/ HDMI)

I can feel a pretty huge difference in smoothness just by going up 7.5Hz, I wonder how it'll feel to use a legit 120/144Hz...

I heard that 75Hz is usually considered acceptable among 120Hz users. Can anyone confirm this?

the optimization of this game after the gun mettle has been beyond bad. I'm using a Pentium G3258 (oc'd to 4.3 with stable temps, and cores UNPARKED) along with a R9 270, yet still have to use Comanglia's Toaster Config to get decent smoothness in games with over 10 people in it.

Hopefully, Valve will find a fix.
