IIRC, you have to disable or delete the background with the stamp image and simply add a new ImagePanel control with a different name, e.g. NewBackground or NewBG and use your image here. This new control has to be under MapInfo as well.

The file you're looking for is hudroundcounter.res to edit the middle section.
As everyone said, a hair dryer should work. Unfortunately the sticker is right on the corner so you gotta be careful not to warp the edge of the book, but the adhesive should get loose enough where you can peel it off. Be as slow and careful when you're peeling though.
ProSkeezTried scuffed copy and pasting the HudMatchStatus.res file from hypnotize m0re over to an older version of m0re black that i've been messing with. I've got everything working okay (fonts, spacing) but the respawn timers like the ones in the image above aren't working.
They only seem to work when during specific situations when I'm dead. Sometimes I'll see them flash for a second over the player icon before quickly fading away downwards. Anyone have any ideas? maybe something else in a different file or an animation
You're correct that it needs further animations to work correctly. From Hypnotize-m0rehud, copy the event TeamStatus_PlayerDead and event TeamStatus_PlayerAlive sections in to your own HUD's animations.
Exported the TGA in VTFEdit
Opened up in Photoshop and removed the spot
Saved as TGA again
Imported back to VTFEdit and saved as VTF
I'm not familiar with other programs, but just make sure the spot is not visible in the alpha channel.

You can find them in the resource\fonts. If you're on Windows, you can select them all, right click, and select Install.
maxx_i used to use uwui and its capture point files worked on all servers
uwui and other HUDs that have custom control point icons working in sv_pure servers usually have a preload file that loads the icons on the main menu offscreen and/or invisible on startup. More on the method here.
You can delete or make blank the border definitions TFFatLineBorder, TFFatLineBorderRedBG, and TFFatLineBorderBlueBG in the clientscheme, but I'm pretty sure this also affects similar player panels elsewhere, such as the tournament spectator panels.
