VG248QE = 1ms response time (newer)
XL2420T = 2ms response time (older)
That should make the decision easy for you.
Just use this website - LogicalIncrements.com, make sure you select Canada from the drop down box.
frknMany report the zowie's to have top-tier tracking on solid color mousepads, but minor issues with multi color pads (i.e. puretrak talent). They are fantastic mice, though
Ah yeah, I forget about the multicolored jitter issue because I've always had a black mousepad and not many people have Puretrak Talents. Easier and cheaper to just go with the standard SteelSeries Qck+ or Qck Heavy.
Added that to the con's list.
Instead of old builds on YouTube, check this up-to-date site out OP.
Figure out a happy medium between the Modest and Fair builds. (not sure why the fair build is showing $378 total, it is an error - the builds are supposed to increase in price as you go further down the list)

Hope that helps.
I vote neither... Realize that G400's with the flawless sensors of yesteryear are no longer available for purchase. Not to mention every week it seems like there is a post here about someone's cable on their G400 breaking.
The best palm grip mouse currently on the market is the Zowie EC1 eVo. Why?
Pros:
- Flawless sensor
- Perfect for palm gripping.
- Really nice rubber texture that doesn't make my hand sweat like the rubber on my Mamba.
- Very lightweight
- Cable is really lightweight as well, since getting the mouse I am pleasantly surprised that it is not a braided cable (which adds weight/stiffness)
- Huge mousefeet, they glide really well on both my glass mousepad (Icemat) and my cloth mousepad (Qck+).
- Also comes with a spare pair of mouse feet.
- No annoying drivers (I'm looking at you Razer).
- "Notchy"/Heavy Scroll wheel - great for FPS games where you intend to only scroll the wheel a specific number of 'steps'.
Cons:
- "Notchy"/Heavy Scroll wheel - not so great for using internet browsers or games where you want to scroll in and out really quickly.
- Can't turn off the LED that illuminates the mousewheel.
- Tracking problems with multicolored mousepads. Just get a black mousepad like everyone else.
Bro, actually, I suggest the Corsair 300R...if you want this, then get on this deal.
Deal Here for $50 after $20MIR and Promo Code: ERO91525
Swap out the H100 for the H100i.
And I guess the case is kind of personal preference, but to me that one is pretty damn ugly and overpriced...I'd look at something like Fractal R4 instead.
PlatypusOdissiusChange the cooler for the H100i (if you decide to go watercooling) and change out the Deathadder 2013 for a Zowie EC1 eVo. It is a better mouse for a few reasons, if you want to know why I'll write it all out.
I'm actually getting an EC2 Evo, the deathadder is just there as a dummy because I didn't know how to add custom parts before
Oh okay nice...you'll love it.

PaalsIn the background... was that... McDonald's dubstep?
that's Ron McDon and the Happy Meal gang
Click it, share it, use it, love it.
YawnyI probably won't be building it until the end of summer when I've researched some more, also the 120hz is a bit pricy for me
Well, at least I tried to convince ya. I'm sure you'll enjoy whatever you end up choosing.
YawnyI don't have a monitor but I was thinking about this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236176 if it works that is
If you are in a position to be patient, meaning you don't need the monitor right away, then I would wait for the next sale on the Asus VG248QE, the 24" 144Hz monitor. It has come down to $240 before and it will again. In my eyes, if you're going to drop money on a monitor, you may as well pony up and buy the best, and that will last you the longest into the future. Leave the 60Hz for console kids man, 120Hz and above will make you drool.
mrgnomeI looked at all the switches. I like the idea of brown the in between of typing and gaming but is it going to hinder my strafing if i'm playing scout? Also whats the difference between the two contact types bump and the other one? Alot of people have recommended red and blue is blue better than red or what?
Thinking about this one:
http://www.amazon.com/CM-Storm-QuickFire-Rapid-Mechanical/dp/B007VDLVD4/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1369890843&sr=1-2&keywords=CM+Storm+QuickFire+Rapid+-+Compact+Mechanical+Gaming+Keyboard+with+CHERRY+MX+RED+Switches
Blue is garbage for gaming...I'd go red, haven't tried browns personally though.
