Handbrake is pretty much perfect, ease h264 doesn't have enough quality control, while with handbrake I can wait a long time for rendering but get some awesomely coded file.

What kind of switches should I get for a mechanical keyboard?
I will use the mechanical keyboard for gaming+regular use(typing etc)
Browns seem good for my purpose, but I would like more feedback.

Laptop Cooling Mat

VirulenceI've got a Cooler Master NotePal U2. If you have a laptop bag (like a bag, not a zippy-case thingy) you can flip it around and secure the laptop in it with two elastics and still fit it in the laptop bag. You can also remove the fans and place them anywhere you want on the bottom since they attach to the mesh on the underside. I find it works decently enough.
One downside is that it's kinda huge, but you probably game on a desk, so it should be all right.
I have a 15 inch laptop, so will http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-NotePal-Configurable-R9-NBC-8PBK-GP/dp/B002NU5V4A/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1375727155&sr=8-2&keywords=Cooler+Master+NotePal+U2 be better? Or is having only one fan a big downside?

crespiTry reversing the air flow. The fans in your laptop are designed to draw heat OUT of the machine. So try that.
Yup, that's probally what I did wrong. But now the air has no where to go.

I tried to put a box fan below my laptop.
After 30 mins, I realized that there was no airflow for the fan, and the fan started to overheat.
How did you set yours up?
Have you tried taking your outer casing off your portable and cleaning it out? As in dusting it out, getting crap off of the fans and anywhere else?
Also, is your box fan blowing into or away from your laptop?
Into, that was probally the problem

I don't have a desktop for gaming, I had to use my money to buy a laptop for debate.
I've searched the forums, and I haven't found anything that suits my specific case.
So what kind of laptop cooling should I get?
My budget is probably 30ish dollars.

CranCARRYthere was a Intel LAN that was supposed to happen not too long ago, but not enough people signed up and paid so they refunded everybody and dropped it :/
I live in the LA/OC area, I would defiantly attend. It sucks having to drive 8 hours to Folsom for Intel.
When I did my research, I found out that that lan was for BF3, Dota 2, and LoL, no TF2 :(
Also MLG Anaheim doesn't do TF2 either.

If you have the time, I would love it if you were able to make the rainbow konr wings (or tell me how to make them) about the size of the default scout crosshair at cl_crosshair_scale 36 with a dot in the center outlined (or an outline for the in-game dot at like cl_crosshair_scale 20-22 or so in order for me to use broesel's crosshair switcher).
I've been wanting to use konr_wings for a while in a fashion similar to this . But unfortunately most of the hud crosshairs and hud dots have been off center. Yours is the first that has been so centered for me (1920 x 1080) and it would be amazing if it was just a little smaller and with that ability to outline a dot in the middle. So if you or anyone else would be able to tell me how to create a perfectly centered crosshair like that (or would like to work with me on making it for me), I would really appreciate it and even throw in a couple keys if needed!
Thanks so much for making the original crosshair regardless!
For other crosshairs, you just need to mess around with xpos and ypos for a couple of minutes to get everything centered. Not all xhairs will be centered automatically.
