Wouldn't a vector thingie of spire minus the metal wall work just as well for a logo? It'd be a lot more recognizable at least.

Matchmaking wont save anything. It'll pull back a few vets and they might stick around. That's all I'm hoping for.
Red_when is mens day?
EVERY OTHER DAY OF THE YEAR SMHTBQH
I'm thinking they're focusing on the basics first, and then easing into it with config editing and what not. The stress test exists for no other reason than to test code and server capacity (I fucking hope).
Been waiting on a dx9 optimization for years now, and I know for a fact I played dx9 on the TF2 Beta when it launched with upwards of 400 constant fps on an outdated pc. Not even unusuals could pull 350 frames out.
Or just. Yknow. Allow custom configs in MM.
catman1900ScrewballThere is no reason to cap viewmodel_fov so slow.
Well the reason is the viewmodels break and the arms look funny when you move above 75, valve is just trying to make the game look nice.
Proceeds to not optimize dx9
Require and limit medic to 1, and then just all the same cfg permissions as pub servers. I don't mind dx9 being a requirement but they should absolutely optimize it more in that case. Early TF2 beta days I had bordering 300 fps constant on my old, worse PC. Surely they'd be able to achieve the same again if they focused on it (loltf2dead).
Other than that, the usual moba stuff. Stacked teams made the majority of matches unplayable, but I assume those people are gonna get thrown into their own premade-only pool at some point.
Not sure how groups work but wouldn't it be smart to disable retweets, if the goal is to keep it TF2 focused?
They add a contract trade-in when people have 3-4 contracts left? W h y.
This is what I've been asking for, for fucking ever. Look how less depressing it is. I remember when cp_obscure was new: the absolute worst pile of shit, and now it's a moderately decent (at least attractive) map, but people have been too scared to do that to Badlands. We got a new Granary, why not Badlands? Opening it up by a pro v0.1 map would be a nice start.
Even if grass reskins are boring.. It's badlands. Anything but dust and a low sun would make it infinitely more enjoyable. The texture placement itself is a bit shitty around spire, but at least it's a start.
//Jumped around a bit and only really noticed the holes in the floor on middle being removed. I agree on hiding spots and 'bugs' being left in being a good thing, but badlands has some of the worst 1 hammer-unit rocket cockblocks in the game. Especially middle and last cp.

trying out the new 6 medic class limit
^why more girls don't play this game
Why, exactly? It's a stereotype for a reason. Out of the numerous girls I've met, only two played something else than medic. Regardless, if banter ticks off -anyone-, competitive TF2 is gonna be a bad time, unless you got a team full of white-knights to counter it.
Unless he has parkinson, that aint natural. And even then, it's not natural. Either way they got fucked over, so at best he'll see this thread and be scared. Till it actually means they win to a convincing degree, doubt it'll change much.
I mean, it sounds neat and fun but in the end, pyro is made for ambushing. It shouldn't have a weapon to counter his only weakness; distance and being spotted. It'd be like.. Giving heavy GRU. :'D
This just in: asians out of touch with current world media. A surprise? Not really. More at 9.
