My HUD keeps breaking. Did a clean install, default HUD, custom HUD. All breaking randomly after I launch TF2 for the nth time. Everything showing top left for some reason.

I like FP because its:
A) A central east coast server which is rare
B) No ELO
C) I have had no lag or choppiness which I do on Liz
I think the list should just have populated MGE servers and people can just choose what they want
fr3fouDave_#10 custom timingsCan't seem to see monitor settings in my nvidia panel :/
Easiest way for me has been using nvidia's drivers
You can always just use CRU and use CVT reduced timings and go from there
I oc'd my laptop's panel to 105Hz from 60Hz stable
Laptop is Lenovo z580
The Lenovo z580 uses Intel HD Graphics 4k with which the only supported refresh rates would be avaiable under you Intel HD Graphics Control Panel. It seems very unlikely that it will support anything over 60hz on the laptops monitor or anything over 75hz on an external. I played on a laptop for a long time and I consistently had bad tearing. This happened terribly when I wasn't hitting my refresh rate but also moderately otherwise. I feel like the tearing is just the cost of an iGPU. That being said closing accessory programs and just getting better fps in general can help quite a bit.
MightyIn-game, 1280 x 720 feels WAY smoother than 1920 x 1080 even when I'm on single-player mode netting over 500 FPS. Help? I want to have my game feeling smooth with my game being good-looking."
You can keep scaling down your res or remove hats/particles but without dropping down to Comanglias Toaster cfg you wont be able to get much more AFAIK.
WE NEED TO BUILD A WALL...... oh wait a second
Are there any monitors that actually support that HDMI 120hz (HDMI 1.4b,2.0)
I've been arguing with my Russian roommate for 2 hours on whether you can run true 120hz through HMDI (whether 1.4a or 1.4b). I was trying to ELI5 how TVs arent "true" 120hz and how the bandwidth of the cables compare (DVI-D,VGA, HMDI, Displayport) but I dont know enough as to how or why exactly this is so. Had a few questions:
- Difference between 120hz TVs and Monitors
- Why there are differences in various resolutions and refresh rates supported by cables
- Why HDMI or other cords can't do 120hz at lower resolutions
