Their internet is pretty damned good, actually. Better than the majority of Canada, and probably the states.
They don't where my hosts live, at least. I read elsewhere that this holds true, same for cherry Pepsi, etc.
Heading up north again in a month, and this time I would like to bring some American-exclusive products (edibles) for my hosts. I've got a short case of vanilla Coke and strawberry-flavored Abba-zabas.
Suggestions?
I used to run hot water over my hands. Not warm, but hot, so the heat would last a little longer. And during respawn and whatnot, I'd put them between my thighs and calves against the backs of my knees.
I tried a little heater on the desk one time and it worked wonders, but apparently those suck up electricity as somebody said in here.
I like to cut them in half and fry them face-down until sortakinda crispy in places. Good with rice and scrambled eggs.

Sweet idea, thanks for being a great part of the community and a generous individual.

Whether you're joking or not is irrelevant. I find that your post is inappropriate in response to a video asking for help for a family in need. I realize this is a video game forum, the internet, blah blah blah. But that really doesn't excuse a person's choice to make an insensitive post.
The issue is the amount of time it takes to get a server rolling from 0/24. From my experience as a moderator for another server, it took some time with a sizeable group of friends playing daily before a steady stream of randoms picked up--and they may invite their friends who will invite their friends, so on and so forth. But if the server community isn't taking up the slack for the first few weeks/month or so, I don't think it's going to happen.
I don't really enjoy myself in pubs any more, but TF.TV has always been a pleasant experience.

I changed the scheme to 98 to get a few more frames out of Alan Wake.
Steam shortcut is because something somewhere fucked up and I can't actually log into Steam on my alts unless I use that shortcut which is set up with alt login info in the properties. Dumb.

They don't put forth the same amount of effort as male players generally. I don't know why that's hard to understand. It has nothing to do with gender whatsoever. When I had the time and internet to pour more time into the game, I was better than most of my male friends and could go toe-to-toe with people that had been playing longer than I had. I put together a team, including one other female, and I think that with our resolve and our Invite mentor, we could have one day made it to LAN. It didn't fall apart because two girls were on the team, it fell apart because my pocket disappeared, our prodigy Scout chose real-life sports, and our versatile caller dropped off the grid.
You were pressing physical differences being relevant to video games, and now you're changing your tune and grasping at straws. Those statistics don't prove anything other than, hey, guys play video games more than girls. What a revolutionary notion!
We're not a poor minority, most girls just don't give a fuck. There's no reason to be treated differently.
You do understand that a flick of the wrist or swish of the arm can't compare to a full-on activity like running, lifting, and long-jumping, correct?
