Firedoes it not get downloaded via regular windows update?
Yes it will be. It may be queued or awaiting an automatic update check, so you may prefer to request a manual one.

CVE-2018-8475 | Windows Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
Security Vulnerability
Published: 09/11/2018
MITRE CVE-2018-8475
A remote code execution vulnerability exists when Windows does not properly handle specially crafted image files. An attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability could execute arbitrary code.
To exploit the vulnerability, an attacker would have to convince a user to download an image file.
The update addresses the vulnerability by properly handling image files.
To be honest Hildreth, I've not really been following the witchhunting/drama mentioned but thanks for the background.
I guess I'm an outsider perspective on this. I know that if I were sponsoring a league then I wouldn't be happy with a team getting removed because they are simply too good. What kind of precedent does that set? Teams should be encouraged to stick together and strive towards being the team to beat THE team. If I were to give a quick suggestion, it would be to try and figure out a way to incentivise runner up teams/players from continuing into the following season instead of folding and being back to square one.
-waxI dont think forcibly gutting froyo was a very smart idea just because ethically it seems wrong, but this outrage really only seems to stem from existing contempt for sigafoo and his league/format.
That's completely untrue. There's plenty justifiable reasons why this is a bad idea. I haven't followed sigafoo and his/her 7v7 league. I shouldn't have to point out that providing criticism for something which has many problems is in pursuit of a better solution more than anything.
sigafooAll of the criticism, calling me a fool, dumb, etc... All fair, because I could be completely wrong about this. Of all of the decision that I've made, this is the one I'm least confident about. So we'll find out, either it'll be a massive flop that we made an extraordinary rule for an extraordinary situation, or it'll help the healthiness/balance of the league. I'm curious to see myself.
You aren't even sure of this decision yourself. Surely the reaction is enough to tell you how atrocious an idea this is?
Obviously the intent is good, but this is not the way to go about it. Everyone makes mistakes - please swallow your pride and backtrack.
Is this just a way of secretly logging the IPs of all the weebophobes in the community?
Hope you guys don't mind a shameless bump!
We've got a couple new tape releases, one out earlier this month and another available for preorder on Bandcamp:

Blue Hills is the solo/side project of Casper Heyzeus, spawned out of a love for instrumental synth pop, vaporwave, dunce music and video game endings. Here's a track off the new album:

Cujo Rosco is the bedroom project of one of my oldest friends - took a while to convince him to release something as I think his Chill Pop stuff is really good:
Saw him in Glasgow last year, 2 hour set. Fuckin yaldy
Been listening to Edinburgh-based duo Romarzs a lot recently, who we put on at a gig a couple weeks ago. 80s synth pop with live guitar and vocals, really fucking good:
