Very informative and interesting post, thanks ArchRhythm
Doom1This season was pretty awful. Dany burning lannisters and the army of the dead while riding on a dragon while in love with jon was literally a meme to laugh at people who thought got is a fairy tale with happy ending. Well, guess what, it's true. Sad that such a great show ended up like this.

It makes sense why the quality has gone downhill so much since Season 5 when you have guys like this involved.
It's above-average fan fiction at this point.
HiipFireDid I Stutter? have reformed which is all that matters tbh
There's been bits and bobs present in other threads, but it's been suggested to consolidate everything into one place. Please keep it constructive, and provide suggestions where possible.
Coverage feedback:
+ Split screen rollouts
+ Weapon loadout icons
+ 2nd POV for offclassing etc.
+ Nuze at 10
+ Pick/ban system
+ Player cams
+ Enjoyed all on-screen talent (couch and casters)
- A few big plays weren't caught on camera (LAN limitations/no cheat feed etc. Brainstorming thread)
- Lack of interviews
- Need more frag movies etc. to keep folks entertained during downtime
- Harder to keep track of non-casted match results than it should've been. Comp.tf went down for a while during playoffs, consider mirroring those results elsewhere to prevent single point of failure. An /r/tf2 results thread would be good
- WAR's a great caster and made me laugh a shitload, but he was talking over Kermit quite a bit
I'm not intending to have a go at Essentials.tf - they did a fantastic job and I can understand that they wanted to focus on getting the new features and the barebones nailed this time around, so this probably meant sacrificing other things such as interviews during the coverage.
DreamboatRussianGuyovichIt wasn't directed at you specifically. It's not really believable that anyone on the tf.tv staff with access to the event scheduler is going to look at that single event listed when a LAN starts tomorrow and not consider having that listed too.
Difference is, the start time and date of the open finals was known when the event went up. The start time of i61 wasn't. No point in posting an event with no time(idk if you even can).
Multiplay's signup page has said 13:30 Friday 25th since it went up, which was last week I think. Could've had a placeholder since then and extend the time if it was delayed?
Is it really worse to have the start time wrong for a while compared to not displaying the event in the first place?
Cornpop16RussianGuyovichYou have an ESEA open final scheduled in 5 days in there, so clearly someone's taking the piss.
Lol I don't want to get involved with the main argument here because it really doesn't involve me, but how is that a relevant point at all? Open players are just really damn good at scheduling in advance

GentlemanJonWhy are you assuming malice?
Experience
I understand why there isn't a news posting based on not having enough information yet, but why is there no placeholder in the Upcoming Events? You know the date, you know the time, and you know the stream. If details change then just update it.

corsa..and an i-series will never live up to that particular expectation anymore. Not really sure what's to disagree with.
Bollocks. Maybe you're less invested because there's no NA team(s) at i61, but there's next year and beyond. Hopefully stuff gets announced a lot earlier in advance then, which it should as we won't have the various delays that happened this time.
Regardless, Euro-only LAN is not a bad thing
gemmweird politics shit fucks stuff up atm with the orgs still technically being competitors and fighting over scraps of a dead game. cross promotion and brand-image are still relevant for some reason. hence hosting is on a case-by-case basis same as the events stuff
This is pretty minor compared to i49's coverage, and even then some extensive collaboration happened. Adding it to the events and hosting the stream isn't asking for much.
Will it be added to the Upcoming Events schedule? Last night's cup wasn't.
