Slightly worse single threaded performance for significantly better multi thread. A tad less fps in tf2 doesn't matter when my 3 year old CPU runs tf2 at over 200 fps on mid fights.
Also for future proofing all the new consoles are using 8core x86/64 AMD APUs with the same basic design as the FX series. As such most games (console ports) will be optimized for AMD.

What about this?
is it good enough? P.S I'm not buying the refurb, its risky..
Good specs but i would try to find a Levono for the sake of build quality.

iPawd13I know the asus has the worst CPU for tf2, but i stumbled upon a video with a laptop (hp pavillon g7 2335dx) and the specs look about the same.
Here's the video:

The only difference i notice is that you can add 4gb more ram to the HP, but how much of a difference will that make?
I would go with something with a a10. It wouldn't cost much more.
I have a friend that plays on a old firstgen APU.
Aether CPU is more then enough for TF2 however if you ever intend on doing anything that is not TF2 our if you want to use a little bit of AA there is no contest. Not to mention intels horrible drivers. Go with the AMD APU.

CopperSide GPUs are basically the same performance.
Good joke. Ever actually try to use hd4000 graphics for anything beyond web browsing? Decent A-series APUs can play any current game (not just shitty source games that it can max) on medium settings at native rez.
Source: I owned both (sold the one with intel graphics)The AMD APU can run TF2 with over 200 FPS with High frames. I never tried it without.
Cro0Ked_delpoYou'd probably benefit more from a better processor than gpu for TF2.this. tf2 is cpu-limited, so get a good cpu
Not to the point that a intel gpu is good enough. Intel gpus can barely run halflife.

yukiFwiw, I went from a Xai to a G400 and 'noticed it'.
I went from a Naos 5000 to a Zowie AM and noticed it. I would still be using the Naos (far more comfortable mouse) if i didn't.
thrasherThere was no new thread... I bumped the headset thread to get an opinion on a headset
my bad then
Please refer to the guide thread before making a new one.

AMD sensor readings are not accurate on idle but are fine on load. This is a common known issue.
dont like the genre so not much more i can comment on
the301stspartanDo you speak about the sensor from experience? Because I heard that it had a lot of problems at least after release. Personally I don't snipe a lot and generally I use rather high sens so I cannot say much about the extra dpi because I would never use them anyway. As for the weight, I find my black to be comfortably weighted, I had a very light mouse before and it was sliding all over the place.
I am currently on a Zowie AM but i am going to be ordering a DA 2013 later today. I heard that while it did have issues on release they where fixed with a firmware update and that it has a lower LOD then the DA Black. I personally prefer extremely light mice. As far as DPI goes that's just a gimmick. I am using the 1150 DPI setting on my Zowie AM and allot of others use 450.
