KonceptSentinelHow do I replace a hud's main menu background image? I love flathud but the main menu is just dark and depressing.
Either that, or replace the main menu entirely with one from another hud
I'd appreciate detailed instructions because I'm a troglodyte
Follow the instructions in this video
Thanks a lot
Fire#2 is not allowed in any league and will get you banned. there is no way to completely remove it. If you use dx8 it wont be blurry but instead be gradient, but thats not gonna give you any more vision really...
Just for shits and giggles, i tried the thing in #2 and it doesn't seem to work any more so it's irrelevant

SpaceCadetSentinelIf you scratch your inner thigh your scrotum contracts. It's called the cremasteric reflex (after the cremaster muscle, the smooth muscle around your testicle which isnt under voluntary control)
I just spent the last 5 mins or so trying to see if this works. Pretty sure at least 1 person saw me and probably figured I was intensely scratching my balls under my desk (or worse). So far all I have are 2 inner thighs that are a little sore and no testicle movement at all. Further testing to commence in private.
I read it in my anatomy textbook a few years back and it works on me, on bare skin at least. And yes i did spend a bunch of time laying in bed, gently scratching my inner thighs and looking at my ballsack

Those types of HUDs are created specifically for the organizations that use them and are not released publicly. Also, most of them only have spectator elements and wouldnt work in regular games anyways
blAstroI don't really know anyone personally. I'm looking for help with scout and I also don't know any high level scout streamers that do that sorta stuff.
Eh, the streamer doesn't need to be a scout main to give you scout tips. Any legit prem/invite player can easily give you positioning etc tips on any class
anderI'm sorry I didn't read op post, but you should do a demo Review with a higher skilled player, so they can tell you exactly what ur doing wrong then don't make those mistakes
Not sure if you're trolling or if you legit hate reading
blAstroHow do I get good players to help me review my demo or mentor me?
I have a hard time finding errors in what I do because I just don't know any better. I've watched top players play but sometimes they do things that I don't realize I am missing in my gameplay, so I think I need someone to help point that out to me.
(I know this thread is about snack but I wanted to ask here instead of starting a new thread)
Friends would be an obvious one, but if you don't have any high level friends, either ask on tftv and someone might help, or pay one of the streamers that does demo reviews for subs (I know that shade does that rn, idk about any others)
Dunno if it's been asked before, but is it possible to add a hud element that shows the number of alive players on each team? Yeah I know that hitting tab and taking a quick glance isn't rocket science but it would still be pretty neat to have this.
The "groups" tab on my friends list says that I'm in a bunch of groups that I've never joined.
Here's my groups tab.
Here are my actual groups.
Clicking "leave group" from the dropdown menu in the groups tab just takes me to my groups page where those groups aren't shown.
This isn't much of a real issue but it's still an annoying eyesore for me so I'd still appreciate any advice on wat do
EDIT: Fixed by unfollowing the games on steam (even though I don't remember hitting follow in the first place). Thanks to timtum for the solution
Android_I've never done it, but I understand that you use the +clientport launch option. Some random post in the Steam forums claims valid options are from 27005-27032, not including 27020. I have no idea whether that's credible.
I'll give it a shot, thanks for the advice
I feel like there's a decently sized playerbase of people that are too good to play tf2center but too bad to get picked on pugchamp, so can we please revive mixchamp in eu? :)
Android_The normal advice applies. Have you tried turning it off and on again? Steam, that is. I've known people with a recurring problem along these lines that was sometimes solved by restarting Steam. If that doesn't work, have you tried restarting your computer?
I'm not promising results, but those are always the first things you should try. Also, how often does the problem happen? Have you only seen it once? Is it constant? Intermittent?
Have you tried getting a new IP if yours is dynamic? Changing your clientport? Disabling firewalls?
Constant on certain servers, disappears after a large period of time (weeks/months). Restarted steam/laptop/router/ did ipconfig release/renew, tf2 is whitelisted on my firewall, no idea how to change clientport
