This unlock is just a good response to the sticky nerf. When your offensive capabities are nerfed, it's now more effective to stay passive with your medic. And loose cannon is a better weapon when spamming from long range.
Buff stickies and you may see aggressive demomen making a comeback and using pipes instead.
E: Or nerf scouts so demomen can play more aggressively.

Every pipe on frag clips look ridicolous, that's why they are in frag clips duh.
I don't know about you but that clip has no implications that he is using hacks but rather that the enemy team is bad. I don't know how big of a deal are projectile aimbots though, but all of the shots were possible anyway.

Well at those pick up games they have a meta which doesn't include a sniper of any sort (4v4, offence vs defence). And pubs are dead essentially :(
The team with a medic will be in a disadvantage and are less likely to dominate mid area or get kills, which is more frutrating. This problem happens with too many demos or with sniper as well.
