CJBowman69Looking to build a PC for Gaming and occasionally programming with java and various other languages as i've got an apprenticeship as an analyst programmer. I'm new to building PC's but have always wanted to, im willing to spend around £600-£800. Any recommendations on what to get?
and should i wait until after summer when all the new processors and stuff come out so the older stuff is cheaper?
For around 1000USD you can definitely put yourself together a decent little rig. Newer CPUs being released soon are actually the extreme version of Broadwell chips for Intel.
Best bet would to stick with a 6700k i7 and a z170 motherboard for a decent price then. GPUs are coming out around the end of the month, beginning of next so its your call if you can wait till then for them to be released.

Ok, post here again in June. You said he's willing to wait for the Pascal/Polaris release so I'd recommend him to do just that.
I was planning to upgrade a few months ago, but you recommended waiting for the new hardware circa June. It's getting pretty close
Computex 2016 is right around the corner. That'll be what you (and I) are waiting for. Last week in May, first week in June.

Well it appears bows the time to get amazing deals on 9xx's and Titans as people mindlessly sell. A pair of 980ti's just sold for 700 on a group I'm apart of. You see titan X's going for roughly the same price on eBay too lol.
