Since I'm actually getting close to finishing up the work, I can pretty safely say that the exciting change I was alluding to last week will be live for the next episode. Since it's only a week away I'm not going to really bother explaining it too much, just keep an eye out for the next one :D

Thalash is a monster

I think after I used it on the 4th or 5th episode of Backcap he really liked the song and now it's like the unofficial intro song for Backcap. People seem to be visibly annoyed by it now though so I'll ask him to change it up :P

Gecks returns! He did a fantastic job, so make sure to show him your love. Hopefully he'll been returning more often and potentially become a staple host for Backcap like how Getawhale, KevinIsPwn and Sideshow have become our regular hosts.

There isn't anything super exciting about this episode, and nothing has changed on the production side, but that's only because we're getting ready to literally revisit the entire show, so get ready... One of these episodes you'll be thrown into a completely new experience. We've gotten a lot of survey responses and I'm also happy to release those, but we've just been more occupied with tying things together neatly and taking your feedback seriously.

ESEA and ETF2L's final week's featured in this episode, along with some quick news and drama to catch you up with what's been going on, but nothing ground breaking. Playoffs for both the NA and EU regions are looking good!

Pine is basically an aim only sniper main who's been playing since at least 2011. I say basically because he plays scout in competitions but he's put 700 hours into sniper while his scout is at 300. I'm not kidding when I say he is the embodiment of pure aim, I'm not sure he has any game sense. (half joking)

i'm not sure where you heard that from cause even if i'm being very pessimistic about rating asiafortress players I'd say if we got together the best team we could right now, assuming they all try and care etc, I think they wouldn't go any lower than mid IM.
