Can you put me down as carpooling from Boston, MA? I can probably drive through Amherst to pick up those listed.
If any Europeans happen to get better prices on flights into Boston (this is unlikely) I'd be willing to drive a van down.

I've been playing for a few months. It's all WASD so all of you great TF2 players should adapt to it easily.
r4pturesherman_gluckif u get one of the new haswell processors...i think its said its equal to a 460
I'd love to see where you heard this. Every review I've seen has shown that every intel IGP aside from Iris Pro are still fairly shit.
It's pretty close.
460 models get anywhere from 750-1000 GFLOPS.(1) The good ones are closer to 1000.
The top of the line Haswell GPUs get around that, 704 GFLOPS for the 5000, 832 for the 5100 and 5200.(2)

Opinions
I play with an Intel 4400 on a Surface Pro 2 and it runs TF2 fairly well with maxfps and at x768. 1080p is doable but can lag. I'm pretty sure you can't get 120hz from one of the Intel GPUs though.
I will donate to any European fund-raising drive to send a European team to GXL. I'm not TMA, but I'm sure a lot of other people feel the same way given how GXL is looking. Europe to New York flights are not too bad. GXL is only about 2 hours driving from New York.
Solid writing, no typos that I can see which is impressive for such a long piece. Got a bit confused with the tag for Doughboys.
Sounds like we can rally up a few different cars for the Boston trip. I also daresay we could rent a LAN van, but that might be a bit over the top.
Is anyone else from Boston tempted to kidnap STAR from his secret lair within downtown?
mustardoverlordTerywjAnyone from Mass (Amherst / Boston) planning to go? Would love to show up and play.
yeeeeeeeeee
I would need a ride too tho, SHOWSTOPPER HMU
I'm also around the Boston area. I couldn't carpool last LAN but should be able to drive with someone this time.
Paid. This is Columbus Day weekend if you needed another excuse to go. (Might be why flights are more expensive for some.)

You can't edit subjects, right?
mage24365mage24365Predicting harb/plat class switch. You know what? I take it back.
SOMEONE HAD TO SAY IT
Harbleu really has a lot of potential on demo and by LAN he should be able to compete with other top demos.
I agree, but harb might want to install this: http://tf2.gamebanana.com/maps/170038
I do like the suicide-into-last and watch opposing team fail the 2nd push strat. But that won't work against 4G.
Oh man. I can't wait to watch this. Maybe in person.
Do you see star and jerma posting their youtube clips here?
I finally got a ticket. Planning to drive from Boston--if anyone through that direction doesn't have a ride yet I can try to pick ya up.
I can medic for any fledgling teams.
I would suggest figuring out the person's steam name and message them on there.
