Ditch the link you have on the steam group, it's more confusing than http://atf2.org which is the simplest web IRC site you can get IMO. Maybe figure out a url that could make #tf2.mix.nahl the default.

Hey there, I'm willing to fill out a roster for ESEA Open and can play medic since I know medics are often needed. I captained a team in UGC Iron about a year ago, and play on tf2center randomly, have played in #tf2mix before as well.

I am not available early wednesday evenings, I could play after about 10pm, otherwise my evening schedule is pretty open.

You're missing a kappa, eXtine. Vaccinator is terrible but while I didn't mention it I imagined it could be occasionally used for last holds after mid wipes or very situationally.

What about just pick/banning mediguns? For example, the 3 Medi Guns never lived up to the so called Medi Gun-triangle. When QF is in play, you "have" to run it at mid to get there fast, and then Kritz is always slightly better than Uber because it's easier to drop QF. Uber becomes a lot weaker.

So, ban one medigun and you get the following matchups, which seem tactically interesting:

QF vs. Medi Gun, QF would get run at mid all the time, Medi Gun would be good for last holds
QF vs. Kritz, you'd run QF most of the time but always have the option to surprise and use kritz
Medi Gun vs. Kritz, old fashioned comp tf2 meta

tf2center whitelists depend on the server owner/center leader and are often less restrictive than say #tf2mix simply because it's more casual.

How was the Quake event?

Will you have a server with MGE mod/map? That would be the best way to show off TF2 in a small group. Always nice to MGE with no ping.

You need to use the slightly older version these days, 2.0.5. Valve reverted their changes that broke P-REC, which therefore broke the newer version.
