I've researched this a bit. I don't think Intel integrated graphics can get up to 120hz+ even if it had the capable DisplayPort. Nothing I've looked at says it can output at that level.
For example this site: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/quick-reference-guide-to-intel-processor-graphics lists the max resolution but mentions nothing about max refresh rate, so I have to assume it can only do 60hz at a high resolution. I've been able to run 75hz at 1024x768, but that's about it.
You can game on modern laptops, just don't expect to be the best of the best pro-gamer when people out there are playing at 120hz.
I got an e-mail from one of the dudes last week and he said Monday and Wednesdays are a good day for a meetup but those are the two bad days for me until about June. If anyone wants to try to schedule something I can add you to the email thread, hit me up.
Go outside, although I think a lot of the suggestions got that covered.
teebssuikahow is mumble going to be incorporated or is there going to be a voice chat overhaul?Seconding this.
Voice chat latency was reduced in the patch below. I didn't know about it until reading other threads.

There's another big beta key giveaway here: http://na.alienwarearena.com/giveaways/dirty-bomb-closed-beta-key-giveaway
They are play-testing a 1-life CS style "Execution" mode this weekend.
I bet you it was enabling fast weapon switch. Think about how non-fast weapon switch works, it shows the item you choose and then you have to press a button again to select it. So your aliases then would just select the item to use but not attack. slot1;+attack;+attack might have worked in that case.
I have no idea but whatever it is you're probably going to look back on it and feel really stupid. Remember that when scripting and coding TF2 will do exactly the commands you tell it to. TF2 runs config.cfg and then autoexec.cfg at startup to set your default binds and then should run the class configs when you switch to a class.
DraGuLaI have now made a clear.cfg and put unbindall within that and in my soldier.cfg I have exec clear and next line I have exec autoexec.
That seems a really silly way to troubleshoot but it does mean the problem could be in your autoexec with a particular setting. Don't run the autoexec and try your soldier config again after unbind all.
If you really want help troubleshooting you should really post all your configs somewhere after removing any personal settings like passwords for servers.
Oh i see you fixed it nm congrats.
Run less extreme graphics settings, maybe run -dxlevel 90 instead of -dxlevel 98? I noticed something similar to this the first time I tried to run 144hz and joined a barnblitz 32 player pub. Props and people disappeared.
I just got a beta invite, maybe they are sending out another round of keys?
Anyone know how well this would play on an ultrabook processor/Intel 4400 GPU? Would probably play at 1024x or 1152x.
Teapot_potI know American education is seen as a joke, but I'm pretty sure AP math and physics are very calc intensive.
Like I said I dont know what you guys do for physics in american high schools, just something to note if you want to study physics and are in high school right now - especially if you're studying a british syllabus.
I've known my fair share of physics majors at various college/universities and I totally agree with you. Physics at top engineering and liberal arts schools can be quite intense. I'm not sure what you'd get from a lower-ranked state school, especially since early Physics classics can be made either really easy or really hard.
