Isn't accel dependent on framerate in source games? So if you have it capped and you always get a completely consistent framerate, it should be fine. Maybe. I'm talking out of my ass.

computer won't boot

MR_SLINK semi false alarm.
So I was able to get the entire setup working with my GTX 580 and 1 stick of ram in slot #1. I then changed the setting to legacy and put in my 770. It works still. When I try to put in all 4 sticks of ram I don't get the post screen...
and yea its 4x4. the 4 sticks are different? i thought they're identical. i just know you put the in in a specific order 1234?
So check each stick of RAM and each slot individually?

I play trombone and viola. I'm the least cool person amongst any group of musicians.
Except maybe oboists. Fuck them.
I would probably recommend just learning to play piano. It's the most versatile of any instrument, requires no accompaniment, and can create ridiculously good music. It does, however, require quite a lot of work.

If you have fired a sticky at a close range target you have to det it as soon as possible for max damage but if you hit it too early before it is primed to det by the time you can det it again it will have passed them meaning less damage done, this way dets as soon as possible
if you a det a sticky that's right next to you it will do max damage no matter what
He means that if you're trying to det as soon as possible, then if you accidentally click before you CAN det there's a delay before you can try again. I'm not sure of the accuracy of this because demo is too hard for me.

An ESEA Invite level player is a player who is currently playing in, or has played in the past two seasons, in the ESEA Invite Team Fortress 2 6v6 league. This is to allow players with various skill levels to participate in the Tournament.

I've always been kind of confused by pauses in casts. The way I understand it is
- STV is 90 seconds behind
- Game is paused, at say 11:30 in
- STV pauses in real-time, so at 10:00 in
- Game unpaused, at say 12:00 in
- HUD is broken until STV passes 12:00 mark
Is this right, or have I just had some sort of delusional imaginings?

Nlpg mixes are great fun, but can be quite erratic in when they happen / how many will be played. To practice my dm (which is still decidedly shit, but noticeably better than it was) I just put some quiet music on and relax in a dm server - you'll find some in the servers tab at the top of tf.tv
