This is literally a more fucking stupid idea than the idea to create a 7v7 league.
FROYO is a Dynasty in TF2. They earned the right to keep winning until players dethrone them.
I'm sure glad they didn't just ban the Green Bay Packers and Montreal Canadians in the 60's/70's
or ban the Pittsburgh Steelers of the 70's
or ban the NY Islanders in the 80's, the Boston Celtics of the 80's, the Edmonton Oilers of the 80's, the LA Lakers of the 80's, the SF 49ers of the 80's
or ban the Chicago Bulls of the 90's, the NY Yankees of the 90's
etc
etc
Would be bullshit if sparkle gang got penalized to be honest. They stepped up a few seasons ago to play invite and help the division. Just call it even and find a replacement team.
next week bump
The only thing in TF2 that makes me mad is having a poor game and under performing since I am usually consistent.
In the end, everything is in your control, just need to execute properly.

I'm so happy I have no fucking clue what happened in this clip
CrasianStill needs to go out and get drinks with me.
Soon enough we'll hit a LAN together :)
Bumping for more tryouts
What I find hard to grasp are the decisions made by the league. They seem to change often depending on the situation. There is also no consistency with upholding rules and simply ignoring other established rules. All decisions seem to be spur-of-the-moment actions and are rarely backed-up by good reasoning.
The most recent case was this season in IM and Faint Gaming. Refer to Post #182 in the IM happenings thread below:
http://www.teamfortress.tv/47564/esea-season-28-intermediate-happenings-discussion/?page=7
That said, I find it hard to understand how and why the league is deciding to only now uphold a rule they never cared about in the past and use it to penalize players. The example above was a clear situation of the league not playing by the rules, so where is that penalty? If that can be explained, then the league has my support.
Speaking for just myself, I like the move-up rule because sandbagging is always a fucking joke and the players doing it over and over don't give a shit about anyone but themselves and their little pack of friends. That aside, what I want is the league to stop catering to these individuals/groups and just uphold the rules regardless of who it impacts. If rules are dumb, then change them to fit the times/situations and stick by them. The worst thing an admin can do is ignore a rule when it isn't convenient and then uphold a rule just because they feel like it all of a sudden.

I'm not going to get into the finer points of what you said. I disagree with several things but it seems like more of an argument with you instead of a discussion.
I'll just leave it at this. I came from a time where we successfully transitioned from strictly CTF maps to playing half CTF / half CP maps over the years. We saw increased competition across the board in every division as a result. Our CP maps were large, spread out and in some cases had 10 or more CP's per map. 1v1's and 1v2's would happen for control of a single point and could swing a game. That's where strategy and team play count just as much as individual skill when deciding what to attack and how to do it but I guess that's just my opinion from past experiences.
Granted, that was 8v8 and 9v9 play from long ago but with the right maps tailored for 6v6, I see no reason it could not be successful or at the very least, play-tested for results.
but if you remove random crits how can I kill a heavy and the 2-3 medics healing him at once in a pub?!?!
