ScrewballTo be fair there is no considerable FPS boost past 3 cores and diminishing returns past 2. TF2 will use the cores but there is no benefit.
He improved 1 whole frame! By this point i'll be more surprised by what people don't do for more frame(s)

I'm glad that there's been movement to change the perception of depression, and mental health issues in general, as medical issues and real problems as opposed to viewing them as personal weakness or failing. I personally think people have been noticing, and the attitude towards it has been shifting in a positive way.

Slayer6Your temps are way too damn high man!!! You might wanna take a look for dust in cpu fans, thermal paste on cpu, the case fans for dust!! Probably thats why you have bsod!
Yeah, 78 degrees celsius sounds really bad, like much closer to boiling water than room temperature bad.
Do your temps go up like that only when you play TF2/other games? Or do you get BSOD's all the time?

I haven't seen it used in 6's or HL, but I think that regardless of its power, any of the weapons that block a specific damage type (Danger Shield reducing bullet damage, Demo Shields reducing explosive damage) or target specific classes/damage source (Short Circuit destroying projectiles, Spycicle making you invulnerable to flames) is really lame and not fun to play against. It offers little counterplay from the class affected as there's basically nothing they can do to get around it. I don't think that has anything to do with it's use or it's effectiveness, just an opinion.

BrimstoneWhy is it reversed for us, now that I think about it?
I mean it does make it a little bit easier and visually nicer to organize things by month. Beyond that tho it's pretty dumb imo as I can't think of another reason why we do it.

Horrible Ping Issues only when I try and play comp

XtheDuckHad the same issue a few years ago, 400 ping on all competitive servers. The thing that fixed it for me was completley reinstalling the game.
Well i guess the timing is good on this then, since I am building a really nice new PC on saturday. If the problem persists even on the new PC i'll update the thread. Looking forward to having good frames while streaming!

MessyRecipeDifferent rate settings from the configs maybe? Or something related demo recording if you autorecord (no idea how that could possibly affect ping but, it's a thing that could be different only in mp_tournament games -- maybe if you sync files to Dropbox or something)?
i use PREC but don't sync or upload files to dropbox or anything, but it's tf2 and the bugs in this game are weird so it could be literally anything
