#10 ESEA PROMOTION in TF2 General Discussion

The excuses for teams not playing both leagues are dwindling.

#11 radium lft (medic) in Recruitment (looking for team)

Seriously one of the coolest people I've ever played with. Makes a strong main caller and has a lot of good experience in this game, definitely a good pick up.

#45 ESEA Season 16 in News
Quindalii edited my post above, but each league has different start dates. mirroring a map list wouldn't really do anything unless ESEA staggered theirs to be the same as CEVO's once they start. eg esea's week 1 will be CEVO's week 3 or 4 or whatever so it shouldn't be an exact copy. CEVO will also be in playoffs already by the time ESEA is in the later second half of regular season.

Assuming ESEA doesn't extend registration and postpone the season again...

Do both if you can. ESEA isn't ideal so we shouldn't give up on trying to make something better (CEVO), but CEVO might not make it (won't happen unless teams sign up), in which case we shouldn't ruin what we already have (ESEA).

#1416 Frag Clips Thread in Videos
toothhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAN0MSCY-MI&hd=1

What do you guys think of the quality on this? Instead of using Lawena or something similar I used Nvidia Shadowplay(realtime recording like fraps at 1080p 60fps with essentially no performance impact) alongside a modified Chris' HQ config. It was all recorded in realtime and thrown straight into Vegas, there was no extra time rendering the frames then using virtualdub or srcdemo2.

It might be my computer/the way I was watching it, or just me, but it didn't seem quite as smooth as some of the other frag videos I've seen that are recorded the other way.

Let me know if you fix it, because I've been having the exact same issue.

#32 Cock Launcher Vs Stock RL in TF2 General Discussion

It takes less time to perform a rocket jump on the right side with the stock RL because you don't have to turn your view as far to the side as you do with the original. However it takes more time to perform a jump on the left side.

I find I can be slightly more mobile (assuming I use mostly RH rocket jumps) with the stock RL than with the original. Can be useful for jumping around everywhere with gunboats.

#180 Players you wish came back to invite/their respect in TF2 General Discussion

Does anyone have a link for the VOD/cast of the match from a few seasons back for xensity vs. (I don't remember who) and relic went absolutely huge for xen on roamer? I believe the match I'm thinking of was on metalworks.

#1 Vanilla LFT Backup in Recruitment (looking for team)

Hello, I'm Vanilla. I've been around for a while, but I haven't really played tf2 seriously for a couple seasons now. Due to school/job/life I don't really have time to play as a starter on a team, but I miss tf2, and I'd like to backup (CEVO or ESEA, doesn't matter), maybe play in a scrim once in a while, do some demo reviews, but mostly to just hang out in mumble with a team and have people to pug/MGE with. If you're looking for a chill backup, I'm your guy.

I'm probably best at scout and soldier (I prefer scout a bit more), but I can play medic pretty well too I think. Anyways, feel free to add me.

blinKProblem with having a "real" CEVO team is that almost everyone aside from pure will be playing in ESEA as well. Our team was real this season but there's not a lot of time to keep up for both leagues. I'm guessing it will come down to who boycotts esea and who doesn't. Otherwise it'll keep being glorified pug all star teams for fun where we show up, off class, play, and use quick fix + buff banner for the win! We didn't have time to scrim even once last season, we did a quick warmup scrim before the grand finals vs bannys team but that was literally it for the entire season.

If you sign up the same roster, you don't HAVE to scrim extra, because it's pretty much all the same maps and you have the same roster. It wouldn't be that much extra work, just an extra match or two a week, which is just as time consuming as scrims anyways.

I feel like I'm repeating what everyone else said, but ww, zbryan, and Tone-Pot.
