#34 ESEA S15 NA Open Happenings/Predictions in TF2 General Discussion

I understand your arguement but there is only so much teamwork and chemistry can do. For two fairly even DM teams, sure chemistry makes a huge difference, but compare open dm to invite dm and it doesnt play as big of a factor. And the other problem with it is when you factor in teams like the budsquad, they play together all the time and have great chemistry as a group so I doubt their in-game chemistry would be bad either

#102 Favorite Thing in Off Topic

- Football (or soccer to our American brethren), nearly 19 now and have played multiple times each week since I was 4 and nothing calms me down like a good run around on the pitch
- Every 3rd weekend where I come back home from college to visit my girlfriend of two years
- A really nice glass of orange juice on a summer day
-And anytime just hanging with my mates, whether its going to the beach, going out for drinks or food, or just chilling and playing video games
-My sister just got out of hospital so seeing her a lot more when I'm back is one of my new favorites
Its all the little favorites that stack up to make a good time

numlocked will be casting all our 21CEST games this week, which consists of broder on Monday

Should be good but expecting an Epsi win though maybe closer than usual

numlockedand Team Immunity on Tuesday and Wednesday

Wooooooooo Epsi vs iM is one of the two matches I've been looking forward to since this LAN was announced, so a wee preview is making me nerdgasm, so hopefully the aussie boys make a good showing of themselves so that I retain hope for my other desire, iM vs HRG

#41 Weapon switch key binds? in TF2 General Discussion

bind "q" "slot1; r_drawviewmodel 0"
bind "e" "slot2; r_drawviewmodel 0"
bind "alt" "slot3; r_drawviewmodel 1"
f for call medic
and left shift for crouch

My logic is:
Pinky always on left shift
ring finger can press Q even while still pressing A so no movement impairment while switching, same with E while pressing D, and same with Alt and spacebar.

#16 Is TF2 even remotely playable with this? in Hardware
ToastyTHTDunno what you are talking about, I can keep pace with mid to low silver players on under 30 fps.

I understand what it's like playing on low fps because I used to play on 30 fps on my really old pc but now that I'm used to smooth gameplay I could never go back. And now I can use max quality instead of max frames and it looks so pwerty, I forgot how funny some of the facial expressions can be

Bought a 144hz monitor a month ago, played tf2 with it for a bit, thought I saw a difference. Read this thread, found out I was actually still on 60hz..........

#105 Can someone tell me why everyone hates pyro in TF2 General Discussion
DrPloxoSniper is EASY AND OVERPOWERED. For the "skill" of clicking on a head* you get a free 150 damage (3750 damage in an entire clip of ammo) and for the price of about 5 seconds that can go up to 450 (11250 damage) and this can be done at ANY range.
*head is a lose term here, neck, or something close to the head will suffice for the free damage

Hmm I seem to recall that there are some insanely good snipers in the high levels of this game and they miss the "something close to the head" very often as it's ya know, kinda hard to hit. If it was as easy as you say it is then why don't teams run it all the time? Carnage, Bloodsire and all that didn't just 24/7 sniper all day.
The only incredibly successful main sniping in 6v6 that I've seen that wasn't on viaduct was sheep the other night in the iM game someone here casted, and even then he went scout to deal out heavy damage a few times, the mans hand is an aimbot and even then he needed scout to deal heavy damage sometimes

#80 i49 Casters! in LAN Discussion
marioAll the stupid arguments aside, I like the idea of an American caster with a European caster. Really helps mix up the tempo of casting as well as obviously splitting up the bias.

I think it would be great to see that, if another mixed casting pair could get the same chemistry that Admirable and DJC had with their great banter while casting I would be in love all over again. But I feel like a new duo like that would have to be practiced casting together for quite a while before they were shoved together if they wanted to cast some of the later high knockout stages of the competition, but yeah would be great if a mixed pair could cast some of the first rounds or things like lower bracket finals or consolation final or whatever it is you guys call it in euro tf2
