I'm not saying its hard to kill a pyro 1v1, I was merely agreeing with Jas that positioning yourself as a pyro is no different to any other class, there are places you go and places you don't, if you stray out of position against any class you will generally die.

And a Pyro who knows what they're doing can take out a Soldier or Scout who is in a place they shouldn't be, and I'd much rather have one of them alive than a Pyro, so Jas is right, Pyros shouldn't have to have extra additional awareness compared to other classes

At least watch map 1 (Process) for the sheep sniper man. Too gud

Watch good scouts, they win plenty of indoor fights. You're probably just doing stupid stuff like running head on into a 300hp overhealed pocket, dying, and going "FML soldier is so op"

If you have a good pyro that uses the unlocks in pubs (ie almost all) it can do very well as it has insane DPS upclose with either reserve shooter or axtinguisher, and good dps midrange with flare, can reflect so much damage away, not only deflecting it but potentially turning it against you, and you can't even chip away effectively long range if they are either being healed or know pub layouts well since there are so many easy to get to health packs on most maps, most of which are also in areas that suit the pyros style of combat.
In 6v6 pyro isn't as effective as in pubs and is just a good utility option to stop ubers, still a pain but not as annoying IMO

Just practice, practice, practice and your aim will improve doesn't matter which style. Dont expect to have a miracle improvement overnight, just keep chipping away at it and you'll improve
