If Granary finishes under the overwhelming majority percentage I'm wanting it to be at (hooky guessed correctly on pretty much right where I want it to be), then the map with the highest votes will get in. This is the last poll dealing with maps.

I just wanted to get a quick feel on how everyone felt with the current maps. It didn't have to be a super formal process or anything. I could have thrown a poll up on CEVO, but anyone can make a registered account and vote, so it wouldn't have weeded out too many votes that didn't belong (if that's what you were worried about).

Yes it was, a few different times. I know a few matches happened on them (I think about twice in group stage and twice in early double elimination), as well as elevate and mix^ scrimming on it Saturday afternoon. I didn't watch any of them, but I think one of them was a quick 5-0 roll in the first round of double elimination with froyotech playing it.

I don't want to give too much personal opinion on any maps, considering all of this is up to the community and not me, but I still think Yukon can be a decent map.

More info will be released on this over the weekend, I believe.

If you're referring to the forfeits, then no. Obviously, I can't do anything about teams dying and not showing up for their matches anymore. However, I know that there were a lot of other problems with forfeits last season. I am going to make a great effort to keep any kind of forfeits to a minimum, but please make sure to have good communication through match comms. Otherwise, we have no way of knowing what's going on.

But again, I would prefer to have these kinds of questions in comments when more details are announced over the weekend. We will make a new thread for it.

I'm taking over for Lange as the new CEVO Head of Game for TF2. Lange will still be helping us with some server mod stuff, so he'll be around. As we are rolling out all of the TF2 details for the upcoming season very soon, we want to gather some community input on the map pool.

• I was looking for the Granary range to be around 55%-60%, so it looks like we are gonna keep Granary.

• An additional CEVO-P map needs to be added, so I'll add the latest version of cp_logjam (which hyce will be releasing shortly) for CEVO-P because it had the most votes.

• Because Yukon was also close, I'll put Yukon as a preseason map. There's been a lot of discussion over it recently, so I think this will let people really see if they want it for next season.

• Instead of putting up Warmfront so we have two formerly played maps, I'll put in cp_glassworks_rc2, as there have been a lot of buzz about that map and how well it might work in 6v6.

I think this is where gecks and I do just fine, because he leaves a lot of the analyzing to me. He might not have much experience with the game, but I fill in most of what needs to be explained.
