#74 ESL One Katowice Thread in CS2 General Discussion

I just bet $20 ($40 reward) on KeyD.

KeyD look strong, and while I obviously want CLG to win/advance, I think KeyD will take it. It's honestly win-win for me, regardless of the victor.

Mr_OwlDreamboatThat CLG/HR nuke was insane
no it wasnt it was literally just nuke being nuke

clg did a good job of staying focused and not playing like mongos but when they won pistol round they had the game in control again

True, but at the same time, Nuke isn't THAT CT-sided. Getting a minimum of 4 rounds is acceptable but not great, and anything less is pretty much a loss. Yeah, CLG had a pretty awful T side, but HR? That was atrocious on their part.

Seeing games like this where both teams perform extremely awful on T side aren't horribly uncommon (or perhaps both teams play ridiculously solid on CT), but still. HR have to feel like shit after that one.

DougNice t-side, Keyd, it wasn't enough though

I can't help but feel like most of the top teams playing against the bottom teams are honestly saving strats and cheeky plays for playoffs. Both teams looked good, though.

I hope at least one American team will make it into playoffs, but I'm pretty sure both will finish 3rd in their groups. CLG vs HR is a coin toss to me, so CLG *might* make it out.

Hiko, come back. :(

K, bringing cookies to the tf2 beach house this summer!

The wonderful beaches of New Jersey?

I'm quite alright with this.

marmadukeGRYLLSA+ lan, always a good time seein my boys. hope everyone got home safe

also, showstopper lost ash's team the championship HAHAHAHAHAHHA how fucking bad are you holy shit

we won the first map and then went up 2-0 the second map. at that point, we realized we had it in the bag, but intentionally lost because we didn't want showstopper to become a LAN champion.

steven chen went nuts though.

#163 Ipkane mention's TF2's existence in TF2 General Discussion
SuperfuzzI just think some people gathered from alfa's comment that he was implying tf2 doesn't require any strategy, and that's why they -fragged him.

Listening to anything alfa says is a mistake.

I gotta agree with Tim here. If you're looking for a rational response from someone who really isn't afraid to be abrasive, then you should definitely not make a thread called "lpkane blatantly lying."

That was certainly one of the worst ways to handle it.

#6 looking for starcraft2 friends in Off Topic
indecencydo people still truly play that game? because i remember trying it out when it was in its prime and i was interested in it but never really got into it. knowing blizzard there has to be a fee for something, but is there any cost for it because i'll get into it and try to learn it

No fee, just purchase the game. Though I'm not entirely sure if vanilla SC2 is required in order to purchase Heart of the Swarm.

I used to play but I was only silver. I had an urge to play again recently, but I probably won't dedicate much time to it, if any at all.

ddrsensationdownpourFoxi don't want to buy a ps4 stick and practice for a game with no scene here lolthis is exactly how i feel about USF4 and it makes me sad because i kind of love the gameThis is the first year I decided to go and they pulled that shit on me. I'm hoping to see the PS4 support old controllers or have the PS360 PCB support the PS4 stably before the time I leave.

They are supplying PS4 sticks for everyone to use. Sucks if you use pad.
