HavvvockAnyone know if NA will be included at some point?
yes. It's just a beta test atm. NA and Oceania will also get support soon.
Hopefully Asia and SA as well in the near future but nothing's really been said about that so far

when does it revert itself? When starting TF2?
If so check your autoexec for the command cl_hud_playerclass_use_playermodel 0 and change it to a 1
elenThey shouldn't be suing valve, but the sites that enable kids to illegally gamble. Valve is partially accountable because it supplies the skins to be gambled away, but I don't think that Valve's intent behind skins was for it to turn into this huge gambling debacle?? Dota's market never really took off, even though it attracts much more money and people.
Valve supports the leagues, the leagues' streams advertise the gambling sites.
Valve could just tell the leagues to stop advertising gambling if they want Valve's support for LANs and such to continue.
They're not doing this. This also makes them responsible.
Like I said in #17 it isn't that simple ofcourse. If they stop advertising the gambling the amount of twitch viewers will decrease by a lot. This doesn't mean Valve shouldn't take actions against barely legal gambling sites promoting underage gambling though.
These gambling sites have always been really shady.
The reason why there's gambling site ads during tournaments is because the leagues have no other choice.
With the rise of gambling sites leagues started noticing that streams have a lot less viewers if there are no bets up for the games. So they had to start making deals.
So leagues advertise these sites now and in return bets are opened for their games. And now the leagues are stuck with them.
"What's that? You don't like our questionably legal methods. Okay we're canceling all bets on games from your league which makes you lose half of your viewers. Come back when you're willing to make us more money."
I'm assuming you don't know much about trading in general if you're asking here so I'll help you out a bit.
Like Sh0ras mentioned this isn't the place for trading though.

According to this your friend owns the only one in existence so there is no price yet
However Miami Nights and Orbiting Fire are priced at 19 and 20 keys respectively
http://backpack.tf/effects Here effects are ranked by price
Massed Flies hats average 38.5 keys
Miami Nights hats average 31 keys
Orbiting Fire hats average 29 keys
After some simple math this means the Massed Flies hat can sell for around 26 keys

in a competitive setting demoman is probably the hard-to-master class with a high skill ceilling you're looking for.
The competitive scene also needs more demomen so if you want to get into comp in a couple of months once you're getting the hang of it you'll be able to find a team relatively easy
Reactivity II tomorrow, Reactivity III 3 days after that, Quantum Chemistry 1 week after that. More exams in August so I have a break for maybe 2 weeks after Quantum Chem after which I start studying again
Help
SmytherWhy is the STV stuff under whitelists?
I think I'm to blame for that. Someone submitted a lot of info about plug-ins because whitelists/tftrue were mentioned and I approved it without seperating everything. Fixed now
RainofLightthe google doc recommends setting teammate glow seconds to 0 instead of 10
I actually use this feature and it helps me know what's going on when I spawn
very rarely does this screw over disguised spies and saying I shouldn't be able to use this setting because it doesn't work on dx8 is like saying we should limit everyone to lowered fov 4:3 resolution because not everyone has widescreen monitors and people with widescreen would have an fov advantage.
if someone has to decide whether or not to switch to dx9 from dx8 because of teammate glow let them make that decision, instead of catering to them by forcing everyone to use the old no-glow system
I agree. The reason why it's mentioned there is because some EU people tested it when the feature was added. They recommend putting it at 5. I only wrote the negatives for now because I wasn't part of the tests so I don't really know what I should write for the positives. I'll ask the person that wanted the setting to be mentioned to write something up
SmytherThere doesn't seem to be any mention of all the various server settings in config files the leagues require run on their servers. Like the no jumping in freeze time, no wait commands, etc.
Edit: I meant the command to disable the new "no jumping in freeze time". Also no mention of p-rec-like features?
You are correct. I added a new section behind the Taunts/Cosmetics section about Server Configs (because that's about Whitelists so might as well group all the config stuff together)
Thanks :)
There's mention of the usage of the demos.tf plug-in and TFTrue for automatically recording STVs if that's what you mean with p-rec-like features. One of the FACEIT devs in the discord also coded for the tftrue plug-in so I think they know about that already though
I'm fine with the blink-like abilities that were shown. Just hoping this isn't meant to completely replace bunnyhopping and other movement mechanics
Wallhacks are meh but if this plays like previous games this won't have much impact anyway because you use sound to locate enemies already (jumping, weapon switching, weapon pickups, teleporters, jump pads, etc) I'm also assuming this'll have a relatively long cooldown
Let's wait for gameplay trailers. Cinematic teasers are useless. And if it turns out terrible we'll still have Reflex

Anyone can suggest additions and changes to the doc. So if you think something should definitely be added make a suggestion in the doc and/or the #suggestions-feedback channel in the TF2 faceit discord. There's always room for improvement https://discord.gg/013dP1BU6B57MVO4a
I'm one of the people who can approve edits alongside KevinIsPwn and Nursey. We still check the doc daily for suggestions
I've been using a slightly higher sensitivity for demo/soldier for a while now (1.5x multiplier). I take some extra time to warm up when I switch between a class. 2 minutes of warmup is usually enough
Plenty of people I know do the same. Most use a 2x multiplier for projectile classes relative to hitscan but anything can work. Just need to get used to it
