TedeiAnyone else having a problem with the cross hairs only showing on certain weapons
It works on the scatter gun and sniper and most other weapons but I cant get a custom one to appear on the rocket launcher
http://www.teamfortress.tv/35367/vtf-crosshair-pack#19
tl;dr remove your smaller explosion script in custom, add them to the txt files in your crosshair folder
cfg.tf can do this automatically if you make a crosshair pack there
MouldTobtotal of 5. to prevent complete stacks from rolling solo players
I don't think it makes much of a difference. A stack of 5 is still gonna roll a group of solos regardless if they're actually trying imo
I agree with that. But faceit thinks otherwise
Feedback from playing 2 games:
Pretty much what I expected. A better alternative to TF2center. Skill levels in both games ranged between open and invite but it never felt like a roll. Though 2 games isn't much to judge by
Things we'd still need is a better alternative for voice chat. In-game is alright these days, but it's used so infrequently many like myself don't even have a bind for it. A discord or mumble would go a long way but I'm assuming in the long run that's the idea. Just a test atm
Class assigning went okay once we were in-game with people playing classes they're comfortable with. Apparently the bot is supposed to assign roles, but that wasn't working properly yet(?)
Also there still is a map ban with captains being assigned after readying up. Something to look out for in case you get picked captain
tip for players:
State all your class prefs in the team chat window during the map bans and encourage teammates to do the same. For example if someone is fine with playing soldier/demo and someone is only demo you can save discussion in case the soldier/demo just so happens to go demo first once they're in the server.
The way this is set up there will always be a combination where everyone can play a class from their prefs. For now it seems to be up to the players to find it
MenachemFACEIT_MikeyYou can do this solo, or in a group of up to 5
does this mean 5 friends plus myself or total group size of 5
total of 5. to prevent complete stacks from rolling solo players
11/12 added atm if people want to test. There's always been multiple tf2 games happening on day 1 faceit hubs in TF2 so everyone should get the opportunity to play. Make sure to set class preferences before adding
Who would this attract to play med though? Comp players generally care way less about items. And those that do often have been playing long enough to have a decent inventory so a couple ref is worthless to them.
Maybe you'll have some low-open meds that care start adding up but then you're playing with low-open meds that only play because they can earn a couple ref every week. Only low value trader mains would care about something like that and trader mains are:
1) not very good at tf2
2) generally not enjoyable to be in mumble with
I'd rather play med once every 6 pugs and play whatever I want for the other 5 than play 6 pugs with shitty meds. Requires coordination with other puggers and gentlemen's rules that everyone plays med like once every 2 or 3 days but pugs would be 10x better that way than paying people just to have them care a little
Are there any serious examples of meds you'd enjoy pugging with that are not adding up because they care more about earning items than improving at the game?
Have you tried troubleshooting by individually deafening programs through the volume mixer?
Have you tried streaming to a different site like YT?
Have you tried streaming with a program that's not OBS?
Dropped out in September. Could've went on, but it was only a matter of time before I ran out of options and would be forced to quit. My grades weren't improving and progress was too slow
Luckily the people at my student job are cool and I can work there fulltime until I decide what to do. Can change things about my contract easily if I decide to start a different degree and stuff. Lots of social interaction as well which I was lacking after I fell behind my friends who were struggling a lot less than I was.
Working fulltime for now. Probably looking into something IT related and keeping the current job halftime once that starts.
I'm alright with the current events. Would've loved to get the chemistry degree, but going to college has made my body start to react very negatively towards stress. I initially changed campus because I thought I was allergic to some tree that was blossoming (I have hay fever). it turned out later it was the stress from going to class that was making me ill
I'm happier now
ZwocklAre there any fun grindy games you can play while watching a movie that arent MMOs or require a lot of time to get into?
path of exile. very rough learning curve but very rewarding
