Bumping this as habib gameplay showcases good kritz team play, in case anyone stumbles upon this thread :

Brimstonewhat part of 'we don't need witch hunts' do u not understand
It's already happening, might as well make use of it
so can I submit quotes of players wishing me to 'get cancer and die you stupid french fuck' the next time it happens and get them banned?
MamzzFuxxTF2C is not an ideal environment to learn proper positioning, but by being surprised and left alone by your team it at the very least teaches you when you should feel vulnerable and take the necessary precautions before you get picked off. In an ideal scenario you'll be with a team that communicates and does its respective job (which you aren't guaranteed to get in an Open team either).I'm already in a team and we've been partecipating in a tournament, it's just that i gotta find something to do while we're not scrimming. Thanks ;)
It's an upward battle for sure but as a Demo main it pays off to recognize when you're alone. Once you've developed that intuition you'll see that playing with a proper team will feel that much smoother. At the end of the day TF2C will be holding you back so I'd recommend finding a group of people to form mix teams, doublemixes or play in pickup games in order to further your skill. Join the ETF2L and TFTV discord if you haven't already and start socializing with people.
Split your time between mechanics practice (mge/dm/jump), lobbies, and watch your demos.
When you go for DM remember that DM skill does transfer from scout/soldier to pipes.
Make sure to learn crouch sticky jump if you havent already.
When watching demos review mostly your deaths. Why did you die? Was it your fault? What could you have done differently? etc..
Very interested in seeing how you use pyro to push out from badlands last.
ReeroAlso it's worth saying to anyone who says uberchain is just an "attention whore" that these kind of situations, especially ones regarding physical abuse, definitely warrant attention in the first place.
What is the twittosphere to do about it anyway? Offer condoleances? It's not gonna change much for her unfortunately
I know it's not from this season, but I don't like the "team A leads the series 1-0"/"<series maps> flashing thing. When I join I want to see immediately the game's status. What about keeping the list of maps and replacing who leads by little checkboxes like in fighting games?
Damage numbers are cool, but what I miss the most is the bars for team health. Those make it very easy to judge a situation without reading each player's health, whos dead, etc. If it clutters too much the side, it could be put as a screen wide bar alongside the top edge, just under the stream overlay.
deathmatch and mge are fucking boring and frustrating and hurt my hands.
Since you liked crash bandicoot, i suggest rayman 3 (on GOG)
If you liked GTA, try Sleeping Dogs(chinese GTA)
If you liked solo RTS, you can't go wrong with Homeworld Remastered, although it's sci fi and not medieval so you might not like that.
You may also like Dying Light, it's an open world FPS with parkour mechanics and zombies.
ImmatureLlamaIt's incredible that there's still weird casting organisation drama a full 5 years after that VTV/TFTV shit.
TF2's path is a big circle : leagues, lans, pug sites, lobbies, etc
In france nobody knows how to fix them anymore unfortunately
Turbotabs for president
i find myself alone with the medic
Your teammates should know you're going for the kritz, and from where. Standard play include someone distracting elsewhere, or a player standing behind your med to get flashed if someone bombs/kill you, or both
when to pop, under which circumstances
as marxist says one uber must yield either the medic frag, or 2 other frags to be profitable.
Obviously when you run kritz and enemy runs uber you should have an uber advantage that your medic should track.
a rough rule of thumb to count uber can be : uber takes 50 seconds to build, kritz takes 40. So try using the kritz advantage whenever possible, it does not matter if it's not on your demo. Just be certain that traps are cleared before you go in, and make sure to have a back up teammate in case the kritzed player dies.
Remember you don't have to get the med, if you can get 2 easy frags, get them, without those players the enemy uber will be easily forced/tanked/avoided.
When enemy has uber, your goal is to use kritz in such a way that you force them, escape, then get yourself a kritz advantage, OR get 2 frags and attempt a 6v4 fight/an uber force.
That means go kritz on the flank to get 2 frags if possible, or go for a very long range sticky without committing through a choke point.
Most medics are afraid of dropping. Depending on their level they might just pop when they see a glowing enemy weapon, so it may not be needed to take extreme risks.
On some chokes (like snakewater saw or gully choke) it may be easier to get a kritz force using a soldier.
If you have time, getting a heavy/pyro can be useful to help you and your med escape their ubercharge, although proper standard play should be enough.
Finally, kritz heavy is very strong, think about it when you're stuck with kritz attacking or defending last.
TLDR dont go for hero shots on medic but rather pop on whoever can get the easy frags and then kite the enemy
