dont get me wrong, the vid is cool and stuff, but if you want newbies to watch/ get interested why not just make quick 3 mins videos? surfing, like lots of stuff in tf2, is rocket science and does not need ultra in depth essays to be explained.

athairusI think the ideal way to get it working cilent-side and VAC friendly is to ask Valve to sign the plugin on the condition it'll only work for servers that have a tag like aimassist. Of course, they'll audit the source to make sure that's true, I just wonder who I'm supposed to contact and how would I sell this...
AFAIK it would be a first in TF2, so good luck convincing valve :|

comp tf2 players "if only the pub community knew about comp then tf2 would be a major esport"
Hundreds of pub players start doing tf2 centers and thousands more could come after matchmaking is implemented.
comp tf2 players "all these fucking noobs are so toxic and ruin the game I liked it better before."
The inherent problem is that the more popular comp gets the more toxic members of the community it attracts.
See dota LoL and CS:GO for examples of this.
Noobs aren't even toxic most of the times, they just play, as badly as the average tf2center player usually
I recall the good ol' times where I used to do TF2Lobby scrims too :D
