#319 cp_logjam (5CP) in Map Discussion
Hyce Is logjam better than granary? I haven't played it in 6v6 seriously myself so I couldn't tell you. But I want it to be.

IMHO it's not.

Not because you're a bad mapper or something, but because the general layout of granary is unique in each zones of the map, for the best and for the worst.

Your map is like, i'm gonna throw a bridge on mid like badlands and obscure, a spire on 2nd, a lobby between 2nd and last LIKE EVERY EXISTING 5CP MAP and a badlands style last point with the innovation of putting tons of shutter doors everywhere. Oh and dont forget the ramps everywhere to satisfy jumpers like it's the trend on process.

I dont dislike the map that much when i play on it, but it feels déjà-vu way too much to me to be interesting.

I also liked the changes throughout the various updates i'd say. But as it has been said, you wont fix core design issues with props.

#46 Player 1 Has Left The Game in TF2 General Discussion
alfaTwiggywhy not stop ranting on twitter?

or better, why not stop using twitter at all?

Because I can say my opinion on whatever I want on public media, if anyone actually gets offended when I say "the game is dead" they are welcome to come up with a response based on grounds that DON'T attack me directly and make a fucking thread about it. Do people even see this whole conversation? This guy literally made a thread about a twitter post and then kept throwing shit at me for absolutely NO SOLID REASON. He even +fragged himself in less then 10 seconds after his posts and keeps going at it, like is this what TFTV has came down to? There's absolutely no respect anymore.

And no, I'm not upset that people attack me thats fine. I'm just getting annoyed by the fact that a certain group KEEPS stalking the shit out of my every move and constantly, for some reason, manage to go great lengths to attack me.

Then whoever that dislikes you is also free to express his opinion. An opinion does not need reasons to be backed off.

mustard hates you, you hate him, anyone of you is free to send Obama a letter about it.

#78 cp_granary_pro in Map Discussion

good ideas, but :

-grass :(
-tire piles :( i would prefer neater wooden crates or something

I once saw a granary version where the choke to mid (opposite of ramproom) did not have a roof but instead an ultra wide vertical space where you could jump on walls and stuff. This could be fun to see :p

#42 REAL(ly dead map) 6v6 Tourney! in TF2 General Discussion
yttriumCasting these would be so much damn fun

You should force all stock weapons for that nostalgic feel, who the fuck needs gunboats or kritz anyway

i actually disagree, hell, we didnt have a lot of opportunities to see recent tf2 played on these old maps.

Gotta love the gravelpit games!

#44 TeamFortressTV is looking for talent! in News
SimMegaMarblerI'm interested in being a producer, I absolutely adore the work that goes into making any live show watchable. I am more than capable at streaming at 3500 kb/s and I am familiar with OBS and NodeCG. My only concern is scheduling; I have class Monday-Friday 6am-2pm every week, but other than that I'm available any time of the day.

As for camera work, I'm hesitant to take this up. I do not have a multiple-monitor setup, so I am unsure weather or not I can catch all the action right when needed. This also creates an issue whereas if stream assets are 1920x1080 the game will take all of my monitor's space, and I won't have room for the NodeCG dashboard or OBS. I'm assuming stream assets are 1280x720 so it's probably a non-issue. I know how to manipulate the camera, and I do have stable internet, as mentioned before.

I apologize for making this post a lot longer than I wanted, but I am glad to see TFTV is opening its arms for the creative talents the community can bring to it! It makes me excited for the future.

I do production on a single monitor, and I have to monitor cheat feed for EU games too. It's not ideal, but it can be done.

i'm interested in seeing some screenshots =)
