Edit #2: You should add the nohats mod and the no unusual effects mod. Also you might want to add the reduced particle effects mod (pyro flames, teleporter trails etc) but idk how useful that one is.Can I get a link to the reduced particle mod? I have never heard of it. I will add no hats mod once I am done correcting grammar issues that I missed when proofreading.

also afiak the no unusual effects mod doesn't work/is outdated unless there's a new one that I don't know about

DroidsterI've been having issues with the dust from bullets hitting a wall, I've named my file "surfaceproperties.txt" and put it in the scripts folder of my hud but it's still showing up, any idea on what's wrong?

You need to make a new folder called something like my_custom_stuff and put the txt in a scripts folder inside of there

The metal counter for engineer can be hidden by people using the in-game voice chat, which can be annoying in pubs. Also, I don't know if this is common, but it would be nice if you could add a hotkey to the class selection screen that would allow using r on the class selection to pick a random class.

I didnt test if the ctds occur with other huds aswell but i asked around and some people are fine with other custom huds :l
