ESEA polls in general seem to be dumb. The community makes uninformed decisions based on other players (anyone remember cp_ashville?) and then the next season everyone complains about what we collectively voted on. If chill to good are the ones voted in and they end up going 2-14 I'm going to be upset.

That's about what I've narrowed down to. PBF and legorobot are almost never updated now.

Solo queues are fucking stupid and I recommend you avoid them like the plague, or if you have to solo queue don't play allpick. The problem with AP is that a lot of people go into the game saying to themselves "I'm going to play this hero" so they'll pick it no matter what your lineup is looking like. If you're going to do that, at least have the decency to instant pick rather than taking your time and then still picking a shit choice. I can't tell you the amount of times there's one pick left for our team and we need a support or a solo offlane or some shit and they pick antimage or chaos knight.

There's nothing more frustrating than having the feeling that you lost before the game even started.

I thought Penumbra was scarier than Amnesia and FEAR, though all the games had their fair share of scary moments. The problem with Amnesia was, as mentioned, the monsters (most of them) disappear immediately after your first encounter with them. So you get the initial scare of seeing the monster, you hide for a while, and then you're relieved that it's gone. Penumbra had more of a sense of helplessness that come with constant patrolling enemies. I feel that stealth moments in general build tension and when you add horror elements to it those become the scariest moments.

Some of the really memorable scary moments in games came from games that weren't even horror games. The Shalebridge Cradle in THIEF: Deadly Shadows was one of the most eerie experiences I've played in any game.

I've always been really jealous of the setup tf2pickup.net has and why we don't have an NA equivalent. It has all the advantages of an IRC based pickup system minus the possible intimidating factor that joining an IRC channel with a bunch of people you don't know comes from.

However, tf2pickup.net works so well because the active playerbase that uses it is a small consistent group of people. I think if you combined elements of both of these pug sites it would be fantastic. The ability to click on a player-hosted map like lobby allows, but have the tf2pickup setup of simply choosing a class instead of choosing a team so you have less opportunity to stack.

To be completely honest though, I think the only thing holding back TF2lobby is the fact that FLOOR_MASTER doesn't have the time to constantly (or ever) update the website and has seemingly little interest or time for TF2. Because tf2lobby has no active moderators or people maintaining the site, the site can be down for days at a time (it was down for around 3-4 days just recently) and no one to look over player reports, making report player and karma system useless. It's amazing that FLOOR_MASTER even keeps the site up, and I really appreciate it. But having an actively maintained website would be refreshing.

I don't see one youtube channel panning out, but I feel like people who already have subscribers encouraging others to subscribe to other TF2 youtube channels would be our best bet. The best example I can think of is the Newgrounds circlejerk (OneyNG, Psychicpebbles, Stamper, El Cid, Egoraptor, etc.) on youtube do a great job of giving each other exposure by all liking and favoriting each other's videos and telling people to subscribe to them on their homepage.

Basically, just make our youtube channels really community oriented. We've been doing this already with streams.

Never was a fan of OF or Das Racist, the lyrics have no substance and it's just weird. My opinion, of course.
