companions have terrible AI. they don't use the weapons you want them to use, they run into combat by themselves, etc. the lone wanderer perk also has pretty great bonuses which i think is preferable to having dogmeat tank a deathclaw for 3 seconds before getting mauled

the first

mission the companion just tried to fight 2 brotherhood knights by himself. the knights weren't hostile to me but it was an endless cycle of him being downed and trying to fight again until i killed the knights.

when you reload it goes at the dialogue choice, you spend like a minute or less redoing the dialogue choices. save scumming isn't a problem it's just charisma blows dick and i wish they at least made it so even with high charisma you don't fail the lowest tier speech checks

they took crit chance out of the game so speech checks are pretty much the only true rng in the game outside of the luck stat shit

you could make a certain amount of charisma required for certain persuasion options to even show up. that makes the most sense to me otherwise it kind of defeats the point of the stat

the thing is you can save scum everything in this game, you can even quicksave DURING dialogue choices and can pass every dialogue check with 1 charisma. this is kinda lame tbh because i put 7 points into charisma and i feel like i still fail every single persuasion attempt on the first try.

so if you have idiot savant you can just keep reloading quest turn ins until it procs

Base game is 40 dollars, 60 is for skins and shit. It's weird people were expecting a $20 pricetag on a blizzard game when they've been charging $50 for expansions for years.

That being said, I don't mind 40 dollars if they don't lock heroes/maps behind a paywall. If they do that it's game over.

Only the reaper skin is sketchy imo. Skins with just a color change aren't very imaginative or very popular. In LoL no one ever went "oh man, i really want golden alistar." In dota they try to make the hero remain recognizable while still having the cosmetics make it look significantly different. It's a pretty tough thing to balance and the reaper skin went over the line a bit but you guys are making way too big of a fucking deal about it lmao

This is also never happening. If no one but you can see your cosmetics it's no different than the free client side reskins in steam workshop stuff and no one is going to want to buy it.
